Ordered small pork and medium lamb. Pork was good. Lamb a bit fatty. Tasted fatty. Mixed veges undercooked so banged it in the microwave. Only had half meat and vegetables of the lamb. Normally good so try again next week.Food: 3/5
Ordered a Roast Pork sandwich takeaway and when I got to my destination there was lettuce and tomato in it. Who puts lettuce and tomato in a hot roast pork sandwich? Ask people if they want that before making it maybe? Crackling was soft and burnt and the small roast meal had frozen veges in it. I came all the way from Christchurch for this.
As a visitor to Timaru I hope there are other roasts shops around to go to as I will never go back. A medium pork roast which is mostly vegetables and little meat with a dash of apple sauce and crackling not cooked completely and very salty all for $19.50 is a complete rip. The pork was really dry, gravey was watery, kumera was undercooked. Im not fussy but if you specialise in a product, it really should be perfect everytime. Go elsewhere if theres alternatives in Timaru
Popped in for lunch after seeing the photos in the window. Was very happy that the food was even better in person. Got myself a medium for lunch and left feeling really full. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will def be stopping there again when I'm in town.
Great food, reasonably priced, very filling. Recommend trying this place out if you like roast dinners

Was absolutely looking forward to this on my trip up to Timaru. Did not disappoint and the staff are lovely thank you guys!
The pork roll was delicious, the crackling was top notch .but the chicken was well below average.way too dry like it had been sitting in there all day and paid $3.50 expecting a chicken thigh but got a drumstick. Would recommend the pork most definitely
