Troy and the crew at Thriftway are just great. So helpful without being pushy. I love my new Lorne Sofa. It only arrived yesterday and I had my first sit and relax last night and I fell asleep waking up two hours later  So I guess the new sofa passes the comfort test!  Even the delivery people were so friendly and professional. I’d much rather shop local and support local Geelong business. Troy’s family has owned Thriftway Furniture for decades in Geelong and their customer service is what you’d expect from a great local family-run company. The staff and processes at Thriftway were honestly a breath of fresh air. In store they were prompt and helpful.nI called back later to modify an order, they were friendly and sorted everything quickly. The $45 next day delivery was a big plus and the staff who delivered the items were also very professional and considerate. I’ll be back for future furniture purchases.

The sales person was very good at helping us choose the right chairs. The delivery estimate of 6 weeks was spot on and the delivery guys were very polite and easy to work with. Very happy with the result.
