I can agree with the high rating. The food is quite excellent. Certainly not refined dining, but fresh tasting, hearty, very flavoursome and overall just damn tasty. Highly recommend for a quick stop Thai fix. Only thing I can't praise is the lack-luster curries that had more oil than spices.

Thip's has been my favourite Thai in Canberra for many years. Very busy at lunchtime with takeaway crowds. Atmosphere is non-existent, yet that makes it somewhat more authentic - it's ll about the food! Recommend trying the Pad Thai and the Basil Chicken. Great place to eat with kids.

Great place for takeaway. The curry was anglicized but delicious.This place is cash only.

Our go to place when we don't have dinner at home. Love their Thai style fried chicken in the chef's special, salads, and the black rice dessert.
