Love everything about this place..... the food, the decor, the friendly staff and the vibe. We sent them a message the previous evening to inqire if they had any vegan options on the menu and received a prompt reply stating everything on the vegetarian menu can be veganised, so we decided to have breakfast the next morning and were delightfully surprised. We had the vegan mega breakfast, a coffee and a pot of tea and it was all very delicious. We especially love the separate vegan/vegetarian menu with a good variety of choices. Would definitely recommend this place and most definitely would return.
Excellent cafe service was brilliant and there are 4 cup sizes for coffee see pic. Had a great breakfast also sell cakes and biscuits like sleeping teddies there was plenty of room will definitely call in again.
The salad plate is disappointed and feel kind of sad when looking at it. The mushroom bagel is fine though.
Solid meals, good coffee, friendly owner, 50c charge for eftpos even when my meal cost $24 drops one star off the rating
Lovely and attentive service, and good coffees in generous mugs, but motel-quality breakfast at a restaurant price.
Quieter environment for a coffee gathering. Food menu had improved to a healthier selection. Burgers were not ideal. The selection of cakes not appealing wrapped up in cling wrap. Indicating not fresh. They obviously are bought in from next door from Womens Work depot. Not that its a bad thing. Just the appealing presentation is lacking.
Went here while on holiday in Mount Gambier, was told about their being a wait on the food which was fine due to it being busy. The staff were very nice and the buger and chips were amazing! Chicken burger was like no other cooked so well and the chips with chicken salt were perfect. However might want to think about fixing their front door, while we ate we watched groups of people give up after not being about to open the door.
Nice breakfasts. Could do with more variety but the 3 times we ate here they were all good. The large option for hot drinks is quite large, however the flat whites don't tend to be the same as metro Adelaide.
I was going to describe this place as a hipster-free zone, but the range of food choices is quite good and no eyebrows were raised when I ordered soy milk in my coffee. So perhaps "b/s-free" might be a better description. Good food, good prices and a definite old-world charm!
We had a lovely breakfast and coffee there. The vintage and antique furniture inside creates a relaxing atmosphere. Lots of locals seem to eat there. Unfortunately we had to eat alfresco, as we had our dog with us on holiday. The staff were friendly and brought a fresh bowl of water out for our dog. We plan to go back there for breakfast again before we go home.
