We all really really enjoyed our means here. They added cheese to the herb and garlic bread and our daughter who is extremely fussy ate every mouthful of it. The BBQ pizzas delicious, the BBQ chicken calzone with there magical cream BBQ sauce- to die for, I want the recipe. I think it's the first time in history the 5 of us didn't leave 1 crumb on the plates. Staff are super friendly.
Even though it was very busy on the night we were there, the staff was professional and tried to make it all fit. Food wise, it was two ends. The antipasto platter was a total letdown, but the pizza's and pastas were fresh and very tasty. Would visit again, only to have a great pizza again.
This warm restaurant saved us when all shops and restaurants nearby were closed. Casual atmosphere, reasonable priced, and food are delicious. Apple crumble is a bonus.
We tried the calzone and pasta, they were both fantastic. Oh the chocolate pudding dessert is amazing too. If you are visiting Mount Gambier, you definitely need to try this place
A reliable tropical pizza and interesting tasty bbq calzone. The place has a busy vibe, and although the staff are definitely busy, the vibe is something that is more akin to the major strips in the major cbds rather than country towns. Don't be rushed, and don't expect fancy, but do enjoy.
Wow! Doesn’t look much of an Italian inside but the food was unreal! Huge portion should of had the entrée size. Had seafood Gnocci and calzone. Piping hot, fresh and handmade. Busy as Easter Monday.
I got the bruschetta pomadore and the fettuccine carbonara. What a disappointment. The pasta had zero flavour, no salt and maybe a handfull of bacon. And the bruschetta... The cheapest bread from coles and some slices of tomato. The bread was all soggy. I put a photo of how a bruschetta is supposed to look for comparison. Definitely wont be coming back
Food is delicious. Service friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is mellow and relaxing but in a nice unique and ambient environment. Will come back next time I am visiting Mt Gambier.
Ate here a few times while working Mount Gambier. Had several great meals, Oven baked salmon was my favourite, fillet ? Steak with Seafood pictured, there are good Non Pasta or Pizza options I don’t do wheat. Beautiful old exposed timber of the building creates a unique atmosphere, friendly and super efficient staff. Only complaint was no table service. May2021, Ate here again tonight, left full & happy again! Oct2021, great meal & prompt service agsin
Absolutely stunning meal as always. A fantastic family atmosphere and the friendliest and professional staff. The food is delicious and comforting and with descent sized meals, you can even take your leftovers home. My whole family can not recommend this place enough for dining in and takeaway. Dietary restrictions: Super awesome that they allow alterations to your meals. Proves that it is fresh when I ask for no pepper and that is exactly what I got.
