Dr Dick Beatty aims for 100% pain-free every time.

There is absolutelyl no need for sedation in the majority of men who need a vasectomy. However, we do offer a sedative for the minority who request this.

The consultation is done on the same day as the procedure, and you can drive home.

No Scalpel Vasectomy involves a specialised instrument that is used to access the 'tubes'. Electrocautery is then used to access the tubes and seal them, leaving just one small hole in the middle & no sutures inside or out.

Amazing experience! Went in a little anxious but the nerves were very quickly settled by how friendly and calm the Dr was, spent the whole procedure talking and joking, would 100% recommend this practice to anyone looking to get the “snip” done! No pain, no issues! Just a really good experience.
Great experience. The team eased any of my anxiety the second I stepped foot in the practice. The procedure itself was extremely smooth and efficient with very little pain involved. Everybody was very down to earth and able to have a bit of a laugh despite the fact they were dealing with a very sensitive area. I would highly recommend for anybody contemplating getting a vasectomy done.
Great service offered. Dr Beatty and Simone did a great job at keeping me relaxed the whole time I was there, from when I arrived, through out the procedure and after. They did a great job of keeping me informed on what was happening and what to expect. The whole process was easier then I expected. Absolutely recommended.
The team were fabulous at making you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. I can’t rate the team more highly. The procedure was super quick and pain free. Recovery has been fine and was back to work the next day. Highly recommended!!
Very professional and amazing customer service. The team make the best of a confronting procedure. Day 3 of recovery and so far so good. I’m surprised I haven’t needed any painkillers yet.
Kasey was a very welcoming face entering the clinic and Dr D made me feel really comfortable before and during the very speedy procedure. I felt a bit uneasy post procedure due to me being prone to reactions to needles but both Kasey and Dr D came and checked on me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and doing OK. If you are considering a vasectomy or know someone who is, cannot recommend Dr D and Kasey enough!
Couldn't ask for a better experience - 10 days post-procedure now and I still can't believe how well it went. Dr Beatty does an outstanding job at getting you in and out with an absolute minimum of discomfort. It's way quicker than you'd expect too - barely got to chat with him and he told me we were done! Cassie is just lovely as well and makes you feel at home the second you walk through the door. For the anxious fellows - nothing to worry about - have your nervous wee in the toilets provided and you'll be laughing when you're snipped and walking out the door half an hour later.
Very professional and efficient, also very accommodating as I needed to change my appointment and it was a very quick simple process. Care from beginning to end was excellent. No pain. Thanks team.
Absolutely professional, painless and friendly service. Katie and the team were very positive and friendly from the moment I walked in and Dr Beatty was excellent during the procedure. As advertised I felt zero pain or discomfort throughout, and we had a great chat as Dr Beatty worked. I highly recommend The Vasectomist, you will have a comfortable, pleasant experience and it is done before you know it!
Extremely smooth experience. Everything was organised beforehand, ran on time, procedure was quick and way less pain than I expected. Pretty much back to normal the next day and no new kids as yet! Very much recommended.
