My wife and i have been attending Capalaba Medical Centre for over 17 years and have nothing but good experiences in that time. The doctors and nurses are incredibly caring and competent, whilst the receptionists are extremely professional and friendly. The appointment today was with Josh and as usual we left with a comfortable feeling that we were in good hands for our health needs. Dr Sebastian is an exceptional skin cancer doctor—professional, thorough, and genuinely caring. He took the time to clearly explain how skin cancer develops and what steps we need to take to stay safe, which gave us real peace of mind. His attention to detail and approachable manner made the whole experience comfortable and reassuring. We highly recommend booking a consultation with him and look forward to seeing him every year. I have attended Capalaba Medical Centre for many years. I continue to do so because I have total trust in my GP that he will advise the best plan for whatever ailment. The nursing staff are also very efficient and helpful and the frontline staff on the counter and phones go over and above to ensure the best practices. I would have no hesitation recommending this practice to anyone and have done so previously
We had the best experience today with Dr Aleesha Johnson. She made my daughter feel so safe and comforted while having a health check and immunisations. She made her laugh by looking for “strawberries” in her ears and “listening to the tiny teddies in her tummy”. My daughter got to choose a brave fairy sticker, and was so gentle with her needle that my daughter didn’t feel a thing. I am so relieved to know we have a kind and gentle doctor in the future to come to if we need. I would recommend any other mums of young kids to visit Dr Johnson, especially if they are quite nervous.
My Wife and I have been seeing Dr Dowling who we found absolutely fantastic for decades at the Capalaba Medical Centre which we have always liked as it has always been kept up to date with decor etc and has always had excellent staff at the reception counter. We wouldn't go any ware else. All the Doctors here are all well trained so it's a good place to go .
