Love this place. Heard about their steak which is even better Monday night and it’s fantastic. Staff behind the bar are wonderful and the steak was perfect. They also offer different sides if you want a break from chips. Cool vibe, great food, lovely people.
Came for the schnitty and the pie but didn't get past the tasty snacks! Super filling and really tasty and perfect with a cold pint. The IPA was pouring really nicely and the stuffed chicken wings were a hit but the highlight was the eggplant dip which was super value for money and the pickle plate that came with it was jam packed with tasty veg! Only note on the snacks would be the French Onion and Jatz could have a little more French Onion punch!nnThe Aussie tunes and the classics pub vibes were perfect place to start the Saturday night
Looking from the outside I might not have gone in without knowing about it first. But don’t let that put you off! Inside it’s an old school pub with a good selection of drink and the food was really good.
Wonderful gem of a spot. Great food, large venue and reasonable prices in a very pricey neighborhood!. Conveniently located to the SCG and Allianz stadiums. nn Don't miss the lovely courtyard, just head downstairs and it's out the back.nn Went with a group, friends had delish burgers and I had an amazing eggplant dip and pickle platter I'm vegetarian. Kiddo had the standard pub kid menu fare.nn Nice drink selection, fair bit on tap.nn Dog friendlynnFriendly staff, conveniently located to any public transport on Oxford St. Parking a bit tricky as most city street parking can be.
Had lunch on Saturday.nWe enjoyed the food but not the wait.nnWaited 15min for beer and lemon lime bitters 2 groups in front ordering 4 drinks.nWaited 51min for the food and had to remind the staff that we've been waiting too long before the schitty came out.
