A mother's day treat from my daughter to go to the actual tea centre. Happened on the 20th of May at 1pm. Unfortunately,The poorest customer service we've had. We didn't get their names 2 sales ladies that's why I put the date and time. We could have just ordered online.
I loved visiting this tea shop, and the best I've been to in Sydney. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about tea and I ended up purchasing a teapot and some tea. Very happy experience.
A fantastic range of every tea imaginable and a variety of pots, cups, strainers etc. a must for tea lovers and prices are very reasonable
25-Jul-217, 4pm. I think it was located right near the Castlereagh St entrance to the centre. The lady there was very nice, friendly and patient with someone not fully initiated in the ways of tea like myself. They have a very wide variety. Most of it is sold loose. They have large boxes where they keep most of tea, and from these they take some to prepare your chosen tea packages. You are allowed to take a whiff of any tea you want before you decide. I bought 4 tea types see photo. I really recommend the Australian Sencha and the Australian Daintree. The blackcurrant and Stockholm blend teas are alright but am a bit concerned about the 'flavour' mentioned in the ingredients. They place custom labells on your tea bags see photo. These indicate tea name, ingredients and other info. I'm not sure why for some they indicate a brewing temperature but not for others.
GOOD PLACE! great service! staff also nice and very helpfullll
This place is awesome for tea lovers. They have authentic teas from around the world, not cheap but reasonable prices for good tea. The staff are very helpful too.
Absolutely adore this place. Great tea that make for great gifts. $20 will get you a nice tin, and they can even gift wrap it for you. You can also place items on hold/pay over the phone and pick it up whenever. Highly recommend asking staff for help instead of just trying to choose yourself based on names. They really know their stuff :
Customer centric, for true tea lovers, little artificial flavouring, and excellent selection of classic teas in black, green, white and herbal. I first visited the Tea Centre in Sydney at its original store in the Glasshouse. I miss the ambiance of this old flagship, where you could order pots or tea with your devonshire brunch. Now it has moved to a smaller shop in Piccadilly place. I still enjoy ordering my tea by the batch in this store, but I do miss the expertise of the original staff and the dine in experience. For online services, the customer experience has been excellent. When my delivery order did not arrive, but had been marked as completed by Shippit, after I emailed Tea Centre they immediately sent my order again this time via Express Australia Post. I will continue my 10 year loyalty with Tea Centre.
Stopped in here while in Sydney for the weekend after meaning to go to the Melbourne one but never getting there. I love my green teas and was after a Genmeisha tea. Staff were able to recommend one and were also helpful in finding a teapot. The tea was delicious and the advice on how to properly brew the tea worked a treat!
Exquisite, exotic and very eclectic little tea hub, it's how this beautiful tea shop exudes its charm. Beautifully presented ambience with an inviting vibe for all to experience the best collections of tea flavours imaginable. This is the "Rolls Royce" of exotic tea collections for personal use or a beautiful gift. But not just tea, it's everything else to host a grand tea party; from teapots to cosies to tea warmer to tea sets. To top it all off, first class customer service with very friendly and approachable staff. This is inside Stockland Shopping Centre. Welcoming for all.
