The most caring, knowledgeable vets we have ever dealt with. We so appreciate all of the tailored care given, the prioritising of the overall physical and emotional well-being of animals, and the kindness radiating from all of the staff. Me and my Border Collie love our new vet. My girl has an idiopathic epilepsy and after trying a few other clinics we finally feel like Nutmeg is being treated and has a chance for a longer, happier life. Very good vibes all around :
Warm greeting from reception staff. Consultation was good. Took one star off because the COST TRANSPARENCY. I took my cat for Vaccine, cost for the visit is almost $250. I didn’t question the bill cause it is my first Vet visit and I have no idea how much will be cost. When I read the bill, I got about $120 for Vaccine, $97 for flea treatment and $25 for service fee… . My pet insurance only paid $75 for Vaccine, they told me it is standard cost in NZ. For flea treatment, She suggested me to change from Advovate to Bravecto, without told me the cost or I even didn’t agree for her suggestion, she already put in my bill. I also ask her, how to get my cat not afraid to foreigners, I suddenly got prescription suggestion for $25, again, without confirm the cost. I thought I just have chat with her but she put in my bill. Flea treatment is too expensive than I could get from other pet store. She is good for her job I believe, but please let your customer know the cost first. We don’t have to buy flea treatment from you, right? Everyone know it is expensive. I hope manager can contact me. I would like to get refund for the the goods and service which is not disclosed price to me. I don’t really like to write review, but I thought it will be good to know by other new clients for this VET.
I made my first visit to the cat clinic at this practice last week. Dr Crispe who has specialised in feline care was amazing. Her professional knowledge and communication skills were superb. She is particularly gentle and sympathetic. For anyone who is missing Just for Cats and Mary Austin’s wonderful care and professionalism, I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Di Crispe. Very friendly, knowledgeable team. My spoiled Burmese have transferred here from Just for Cats which has closed. Worth the extra time in the car for us all.
Dr. Alice is very professional and responsible! When she knew that my dog had diarrhea and was vomiting, she immediately arranged a consultation and asked natasha about her previous medical records and vaccine records. Very patient and professional throughout the interview! My dog was treated professionally the first time and booked for a follow-up visit. Thanks again to Dr. Alice!
Was amazed by the level of service. Friendly staff that gave us a tour of the clinic with our first appointment. Very knowledgable veterinarians and nurses. The regular check-ups and phone support we're very unexpected. Having puppy classes held in the clinic was also very useful. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
