The Spice Route Gourmet

Really nice food, tasted freshly made and was yummy. The menu was hard to understand at times but you can tell that they are really trying to meet your needs. Would definitely try again 😊

Lovely place,At evening gone to spice route restaurant into a great choice for dinner. Service is very good, lots of choices of food and setting. Very good for money and lovely food.

I bought a large takeaway order that they crammed into one bag. Obviously it broke, and the food went all over my rug and stained it completely. I called them up and they said they would replace my order. I arrived there and they argued the point (which they could have done on the phone), even though I brought the bag back to show them. After lots of arguing, they replaced 2 curries with horrible curries. They were not what we ordered and they were worse than the scraps that I managed to save from the carpet. The replacement curries had 1 piece of meat in them to spite us. I managed to save some pieces of tandoor stuff, but it was cold as a rock after the ordeal. They also just didn't give us one of the naans. Worst restaurant experience I've had for a long time.

I bought 3 curries, a mixed platter, heaps of naan and rice take away. The bag you supplied broke, causing the food to drop and break open on the floor. I called and explained the situation, you said you'd replace the food. When I returned you only replaced two curries. I argued my point, however you refused to replace all the food. Both curries were sub-standard (mostly water, minimal meat), one of which was the incorrect curry. Now, all the rest of the food is cold, two curries are terrible. Would not order from here again
