You know I liked it, not perfect but a friendly smile, yum fried scallops with a bit of batter.  I have now ordered two nights in a row, just because it was nice. Of course it's a local fish & chip shop so don't expect fancy tucker.  Their English is not great, so be polite and clear. Did notice some Uber bags, so expect you can easily phone order.

I’m no fish and chip connoisseur, but it doesn’t take much to tell how fresh the food is and the quality of service from staff is, especially in a competitive market. By far the worst fish and chip experience we have ever had, from difficulties ordering over the phone to the order being completely incorrect and the store proceeding to argue that they had not packed any meat inside with the vegetarian food which they blatantly had was horrific. I would never recommend this shop to anybody in the area, you could not pay me to eat another Dim Sim from this place, half of our dinner was thrown out it was that disgraceful.

Worst fish and chips ever! We ordered through Uber Eats, and we were missing half our order. Rang The Sea Captain and they didn't have much to say except that they remembered the order but there was nothing they could do. I said I will give them my address and they can deliver it to me but their response was "we cant, we are too busy". Not good enough since they packed the order and Uber Eats delivered a sealed bag which was missing our order. Avoid, soggy fish and scallops, warm drinks, not worth your money.

This is THE BEST fish and chip shop I have ever been too! I never write reviews but this little gem deserves one! No other fish n chip shop compares. Chips always crunchy and beautiful fresh fish! 5 stars!

Worst experience I have ever had trying to order fish and chips. Didnt supply a Junior Pack. Was over 20 minutes late. Told us they would have one sent out immediately inside 20 minutes. I called back 40 minutes later to which I got next to no response other than the phone on the counter and them squabbling for five minutes. So I drove down there demanding my money back to which I get blank and confused faces from them all. They speak next to no English and only care up until they have their money. When they refused to give me a full refund I told them I would write this review to which I was screamed at by who I assume is the owner that she refuses my review. AVOID AT ALL COST. There are many other good fish and chips shops in the area

I phone order regularly. You may need to repeat your order to confirm as English is not their 1st language. Very nice chips which are perfectly crispy every time. The south melbourne dimmy's are good too.

Excellent fish and chips.  Chips always crispy; potato cakes actually have potato in them; flake is crumbed perfectly.  Very friendly and polite service.

Horrendous - ordered crumbed flake & received grilled & cold even though crumbed was repeated several times during the order also ordered a portion of chicken nuggets & was sent home with just one nugget?! Disappointing & would not recommend

Terrible. Waited over 2hours for delivery, at this point they called and asked if we still wanted our order! I requested a refund, which I have not received after multiple attempts at contact.

Cheap and stingy! Small dry pieces of fish that wernt flake.. hamburger burnt! Asked for $5 worth of chips barely got 1 tray of chips... do not suggest anybody go here
