Had my big brother's birthday bash in the upstairs area here. Great finger food, the vegans and veggies had choices too. Decor is very cool, outdoor area is lovely. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that in their zealousness to clear glasses etc they'd often take an unfinished drink away! Even though we were drinking on a bar tab, I don't like wasting other people's money either. I would give 4.5 stars if possible. Recommended.

One of the only real pubs left in Balmain. Runs a great Trivia night on Mondays. Pity the choice of food is now confined to burgers. Otherwise a friendly and good all-round pub.

Definitely one of the best pubs in Balmain. Incredible ribs, amazing wine, lots of other great food and drink options, extremely friendly staff and lots of different areas to sit near a tv or in the dining room or upstairs. Fantastic place to be!!

A really solid pub. A varied menu that sits in the sweet spot between pub and restaurant, consistent quality and good service. Every time we go we say ‘we should come here more!’
