Fantastic day out on the River! Reasonably priced for what you get. Very interesting museum that is worth a look before you board. Once you leave the dock there is a commentary that is quite interesting. You can purchase a basic lunch onboard as well as coffee, tea and alcohol.The only negative is the steep stairs/ladders to go down to the cafe and toilet which is not ideal for some people. Great how you can look down to where the stoker is putting on more coal! Highly recommend this trip. Please give this a "like" if you found this useful cheers
Great place to visit to see and read the history of the steam ship, Waimarie.
Enjoyed the river cruise today. The steam paddle steamer is a national treasure. Great crew of volunteers happy to share their knowledge. Two and a half hours of steaming on the river was just perfect.
Lovely cruise then see the pictures of the past . A wonderful visit all up. A credit to the staff of the waimarie
