Needed to use the lavatory in the morning they said sure mate without a question. The service was so good that I came back in the afternoon and grabbed a beer or two. Great atmosphere and a unique character that is its own. Would return.
Love the Retreat. Good selection of beers on tap cycling through. Good food various parmas is always a plus. Folk behind the bar are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend dropping in for a drink and a feed.
This is Sunday regular for us, can't go past the Sunday roast as it is always on Point. Great beer menu and attentive service. Great now there is more outdoor seating!!!

The Retreat Hotel is mostly' known' , because many scenes from the old series, The Sullivan's, was done in the public bar. It hasn't changed, but, the range of beers, on tap, has, and a quick read of the menu, plus observing meals being served, means this place will be my regular.
My uncle got cut off for spitting ice here once. My dad started it. Love it.

Old pub and really lovely and affordable food, lovely atmosphere great seating indoor and outdoor highly recommended but alcohol like always at pubs really expensive but you get that u can make a reservation or walk in, it's highly recommended to get a reservation also
