Lulie is a spacious tavern with interesting decor and a very comfortable ambience. It's a great place to play some pool or catch up with friends. The upstairs bar also has a retractable roof which is perfect for summer afternoons and evenings.
Fries were like cardboard and way too salty. 3/10 Whopper - A bit messy, but not too shabby. For a pub burger, it was alright. 5/10 Vegan chicken burger - hard and weird. I understand it’s not real meat, but the chicken was not chewable. Buns were nice and soft and extremely buttery. 2/10
Super solid rocky dive bar vibes. Live music on point. Free pool. Quality and variety rich selection of annebriators. Top notch solid burgers and snacks.
Came here late night during the week, nice selection of beers on tap. Music is a little bit loud for my liking when trying to have a conversation with friends. Had QR code and hand sanitizers out front. Has a good vibe and drinks were reasonably priced.
Very cool venue and the new rooftop is unreal. The burgers are delicious and the beers are cold. Speedy service from friendly people. Love this spot!
Close to city, Fitzroy and public transport. Live bands on Sundays. Child friendly. A chill, village atmosphere, while still a rock-club feel. Lots of seating. Out-front under cover area if you want a break from the band.
Groovy spot with a cool cowboy theme. Also has a pool table so that’s always a bonus! Can recommend. Good burgers
Excellent service and the quality of the drinks and food are second to none. Great atmosphere , especially the rooftop bar.!!!
Have been a few times over the past couple years and this place has become the soul of this pocket of Melbourne. Pizzas from neighbouring Rita's are arguably best in Melbourne and can be ordered to have with your drinks at Lulies. Always good vibes whether the place is busy or you are the only one there. Think that is really testament to the welcoming and friendly staff. Keep it up.
