Awesome place. Great food. The Sunday roast was a HUGE hit that we would come back every week just for it. The roast takes you back to your childhood and gives such memories of yesteryear. Great addition! Nice atmosphere.
Great old pub. It was Friday night and the place was full but there was still room to move. We dined in the dining room. The service was lightning fast. I had the Red Ale and it was fresh, crisp, and it was so good. But the food was even better. We had the salt and pepper calamari and miso salmon. But the highlight was the crumbed mushrooms. Whatever you do, get the crumbed mushrooms. Crisp goodness filled with a moist delicious mushroom.
Came here on a Tuesday night for Tuesday Parma special for $20. Also had a pint of hazy IPA on tap for $8, that’s cheap in my opinion. I personally recommend coming here before 6pm as the tables get filled quickly. The Parma was outstanding, top 5 in Melbourne in my books. Excellent thickness to the chicken, the side coleslaw was fresh and crunchy as well as the chips. Will definitely add this to my weekly routine. Very accommodating even if you are coming here by yourself.
Totally delicious. Had the Sunday roast, great playlist, friendly service and great food. Have been here for the steak too and also 5 stars on steak night
First timer.We had a range of meals that were shared. Everything and l mean everything was sensationally delicious. I know it’s only a burger and chips or a parma but the flavours, freshness and deliciousness was remarkably worth every bit. Place was packed to the rafters. Make sure to book ya table otherwise you’ll have to wait until one becomes available. Oh a big fat score on their ambience. Calming, relaxing and just enough lighting
Great pub super friendly staff a sweet vibe that’s dog friendly. Food is always delicious quick with great beers. I usually go with friends for a steak on a Wednesday night. Thanks you to all the staff.
Long story short, I was on my way to another pub and it was closed, on a Sunday? Anyway me and my girlfriend stumbled upon this wonderful historical pub. 1800’s The food was delicious, they had my favourite beer on tap mountain goat. You couldn’t ask for more than a Sunday afternoon around families, dogs and delicious pub grub. The staff were also excellent!
Love the front bar! Patterned carpet and vinyl stools. Immaculately clean. It’s like all front bars should be! Menu is as you’d expect

This place is an inner north stalwart and borderline Abbotsford icon. The down to earth vibes, charming courtyard, well kept beer kegs and delicious food make it a must to pop in and check it out, and a blessing for those lucky enough to call it their local. Top stuff!
