Located on the corner of Pitt and Bridge Streets, The Republic Hotel site was first licensed in 1865. A classically renovated pub with four distinct levels and styles.

Came in today for lunch at Taylor’s with some friends, food and service was fantastic. A big thank you to Madi and Gemma for taking such good care of us. Will be back again!
Rib-eye was great, duck not so much. Bit on the pricey end. The beef cost me $54 not sure whether thats justified. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.convenient location.
Pretty decent rooftop bar. Good specials and tasty food
Amazingly soft and juicy steak. Crispy, hot chips. Really, no complaints. Good vibes. Cool place for young people as I believe I was the oldest one in there at that time.
Sara was the greatest bartender of all time. Everyone was good but she stood out for customer service and absolute interest in the customer experience. Really appreciate her serrvice. She's an amazing human being
staff were very apologetic and polite as kitchen was slow ... great service otherwise and beer was crisp and cold ... can't wait to try out the rooftop
Extremely rude, bratty staff who make the experience here miserable. Under - trained, attitudinal, child-like, personnel, who don't know what's going on in their bar. Compared with the colossal range of other, better-equipped venues in Sydney, i would not recommend this place at all.
Staff were so accommodating and the nachos were delicious! Nice little Sydney gem
