Story

The Parlor is a family run and inviting cafe situated in the heart of Bayside, run by two driven and passionate young women, Tamare Kara and Bonne Squires, who have been friends/god-sisters for over 25 years.

The cafe began in September 2011 and continues to grow and thrive on the laid-back Beaumaris street. Hidden between the houses of Weatherall Rd, "The Parlor Milkbar & Kitchen is gaining the reputation as the cool place to have a bite or coffee", the food is fresh, easy to love and hard to share, the coffee is great and the customer service is exceptional.

With room to accommodate larger groups or families, The Parlor is quickly gaining a special spot in the people of Bayside's hearts.

Great food, amazing ambience. Highly recommended cafe. Loved the platter - “The parlour tasting board” was super amazing and I will be visiting again for sure and will recommend my friends as well. Great staff and awesome customer service.

As usual, super friendly and helpful staff, tasty food and great atmosphere. Plenty of space inside and out to dine, with inside being near a fireplace to further enhance the experience. Great menu choices are complimented by great drink choices milkshakes included!.  Definitely give these guys a whirl, you won't regret it.

Great lunch. As per food always delicious.   Staff attentive and friendly.  Had the best Calamari Salad.   Normally have the Sweetcorn Fritters which are delicious.   Something sweet, try the French Toast.

I frequent "The Parlor" as often as I can - great breakfast, good atmosphere and staff. Great parking directly outside. When the weather is suitable its nice to sit on the deck, often blankets and heaters are provided as well.

Bloody awesome food will be back for more goodness soon.

Amazing food in country style setting

I had a friend's baby shower at The Parlor. They were so accommodating and helpful with setting up the room at the back. The food and the service was also great. Thanks so much!
