The most sad muffin I have ever had in my life. It was huge with only 2 raspberry and 1drop of white chocolate cream, taste of cheap rising flour. At the first bite it just crumbled in my hands. Super disappointed muffin break.
How long does it take to make a coffee? Ridiculous wait from staff that were sooooo slow. I've see milk turn quicker.
Ordered 3 frappe's & a slice of cake today & after a 20 minute wait 2 were brought out to us 1 of which wasn't what we ordered so it was taken back ... after 30 minutes I went in to ask where the other 2 were ...to be told they were NEARLY ready ,at which point I ask for a refund which they refunded in cash even though it was paid for by card ? ..Not 1 person in there seem to have a clue what they were doing, the cafe wasn't even busy ,no-one inside & only a few people at tables outside. Used to be a great place for coffee and cake but I will not return there again .Staff training definitely needs looking at .shocking
Very impressed as I walked in with 3 children and a baby in a pram but saw it was too busy to sit down, but the manager chased over to show me a space for us all to sit. It was an unusually manic weekend due to the Jubilee but he still managed to make sure his staff knew to allow me to return to my children rather than wait for my food at the till and he had them bring it over to me. Not only that, I forgot to order one of the girls sandwiches so I had to queue again however he spotted me and made sure I was seen to asap. He was on the ball the whole time making sure everyone got the same individual care and treatment despite the heavy footfall. On top of that, the food was outstanding. A mountain of delicious bagels, flatbreads and cakes etc to choose from and the coffee tastes amazing!! A new favourite spot of ours. Nice to see a cafe care about it’s customers beyond the till!
After visiting muffin break this morning, it’s safe to say I won’t be visiting again. I ordered a sausage bapp which was stale and not edible and very over priced, I also ordered a mocha frappe which had no chocolate, it was just a cold coffee. I’m really disappointed and will not be going again.
We have been here previously and enjoyed it But yesterday was disappointing the iced coffee tasted like it was made with a syrup as did the chocolate milk shakes which looked nothing like the pictures displayed. The coffee cake had a hard crust to one side and the icing was strange tasting....othe cakes were OK. Very expensive £25 for 3 drinks and 3 cakes......maybe time to try somewhere new
The staff are very friendly & the food & coffee is delicious. Need more vegan & vegetarian choices.
Clean , friendly staff, good selection of snacks but very overpriced when you have more than one child
Busy but great menu and service. Got our order wrong but it was delicious and well presented. Parking: No parking, short stay nearby or 45 minutes on the road available. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly
It's be a lovely place for a coffee/snack whilst out shopping you will see be spoilt for choice the staff have been there all very pleasant and helpful. The prices are a little more than the big stores but this is No Greasy Spoon.Visit once and you will be hooked! There is no parking as they are situated in the middle of a small shopping centre but plenty of car parks nearby.
