Found this nice little Cafe nestled in Charles St, Launceston. The farmers breakfast I had, was a nice size serving, quality was great. Coffee was also top notch with Oat milk. Atmosphere was relaxed and service was friendly. Tables for any size group but not a lot, so may be hard to get one during peak times. Would recommend this for anyone to try.
Pantry is a great place for breakfast. They have inside and outside options for seating, with the chalk board outside being a great option for kids to have while waiting for food. Tasty and large meals, good coffee and fantastic staff, worth visiting.
Coffee, food, staff and prices are all lovely! You won't go wrong in selecting their breakfast omelette and can get a big enough coffee to help fuel your day! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and staff are super friendly and accommodating
Good wholesome food. I had not had lunch here before but it was as good as the breakfasts that I have come to enjoy. Staff are considerate and very helpful and you don't feel pressured to move. They are always busy so get in early.
The one star applies to the kid-friendly chalkboard….. flavourless food and terribly rude staff for no apparent reason place was quiet on a Monday. Coffee is ok, Noting to boast about sign saying best in town. Hope they value the feedback. A friendly smile rather then mockery could make all the difference, perhaps I would have turned the cheek to the food being terrible.
Staff forgot to put order in, 15 mins later i was handed a cold toasted sandwich to which I asked for a refund as I needed to go, was laughed at by the young guy at the sandwich bar and then advised by the young girl just because it's cold doesn't mean it's not cooked! Advised them I am pregnant and would like my order cooked through to which I was scoffed at.
They have said 20 minutes wait and 50 minutes later our food hasn't arrived. So I went to talk to the waitress and found out they hadn't even made the food. It resulted in giving us a refund. Hey guys, you need to come up with a better system, and from observation, there was too much staff at the FOH. Two of you guys could've helped out in the kitchen. We would have understand it if you guys were too busy and lacking staff but you weren't that busy.
I was surprised to see this place only has 4.2 stars. The service was friendly and the food was prompt, fresh and hot! The coffee was also great and HUGE
Best coffee in Tassie..super friendly staff and a wide range of meal options. Love the little lounge room next to the cafe which can be booked for meetings too. Definitely a highlight on our first visit to Launceston
