Definitely the best pub food in Prahran. Steak night on Wednesdays is great value for money. Very generous piece of steak, cooked well and delicious! I had the chicken burger too which was also very tasty. Very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Great service thank you, Freddy.
Located on the intersection of Osborne street and Commercial road in South Yarra, Osborne Rooftop is a nice place to visit for catching up with your social circle and enjoy a drink or two. We had our work christmas party at this place yesterday. All out team members had a great time, However All team members were not happy with the DJ not playing for songs requested. They have variety of beer on Tap and they do have finger food available.
We have been there for a bottomless brunch and we were happy with it! They gave us some battered fish and veggies, sushi, sashimi salad and crunchy edamame, all very good! The drinks were also good! Good spritzs made it on the spot and very good espresso martini on tap. We were seated in a table in the sun it was a very hot day and they moved us in the shadows as soon as a table became available! Definitely be back
Not worth the price you pay for the bottomless brunch. Paid $60/pp to only receive a small selection of food that doesn’t cater for dietary requirements. Not a singular dish had no seafood/ meat and was definitely not enough food to balance out the bottomless drinks. Extremely dissatisfied considering how much The Osborne portray them to be a classy high end bar. Will not be returning to spend my money at a terrible place. If I could rate 0 stars, then I would.
Really pleasant rooftop bar and restaurant with surprisingly good food, that is to say I wasn't expecting it be that good and was pleasantly surprised. I don't really like seafood at all usually but the calamari in particular was excellent. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. Would happily visit here again
I don’t usually write reviews but I would strongly advise not to go here for several reasons. WORST BOTTOMLESS EVER! $60pp for a “brunch” which we received 2 small spring rolls, 2 tiny pieces of raw tuna and a beef skewer stick each. Not enough food. We advised of dietary requirements prior, yet vegos weren’t able to eat since everything had meat in it. My friend got groped at the bar and then after we confronted the man to get off her, she was escorted out. The bouncers told us there was nothing they could do about the old man touching her inappropriately because he was the owner. Disgusting, creepy and definitely not a safe bar for anyone.
On Sunday afternoons/evenings the rooftop outdoor terrace is gay and very fun! There are drag queens, performances, good music and there are good happy hour deals.
Wow, what a great addition to commercial Rd. It was only their second day open and the place already had a great turnout. The food tastes great but needs a little more on the plate to give better value for money. The rooftop looks absolutely awesome, the venue looks fantastic. Drinks were a reasonable price. 3 large TV screens showing Sports, a little something for everyone. Went back recently here and got the pasta, it was really nice fresh pasta but quite small, was still hungry after.
This is a great bar to chance by for after-work drinks or predrinks for a date/night out. The interior is quite sleekly decorated and inviting. Though I myself found it a tad too loud so the lovely girl that served us ciders recommended the rooftop seating. I really liked the seating up here! Yes half of the great table options were reserved for an events and the crowd that were there at the time were some of the most pretentious I have ever seen. I almost thought I fell through a dimensional rift, experiencing a parallel world where this crowd was living a life of showbiz. Seriously the attitudes and girls who moved away when me and my lovely partner sat down on a nearby couch. The views are nice from above and it is a really nice spot to enjoy a drink. Give this place a shot, we probably went on an odd day.
Just a one-off experience I'm sharing that's not reflective of the Osborne as a whole, as I've been a few times and the staff are friendly and it's a lovely venue. I went to a party there a few days ago, and had cloaked a winter jacket with some important personal items in the pocket that will now have to be replaced. They'd put my cloak ticket on the wrong jacket, so when I went to collect at end of the night my ticket was attached to someone else's items, and my jacket had been taken. It also happened to someone else who had their jacket lost with their house keys in it. There was an attempt by the staff to look for it but we were just told to put our name and number down and they'll call in case it somehow gets returned. It was disappointing to be paying money for personal items to be minded, only for them to be taken. Hopefully it will be more organised for the next event.
