"The Lotus-Heart is dedicated to conscious living and healthy eating, striving to create a global cuisine naturally. We use the freshest ingredients, locally grown and organic where possible, natural sweeteners, vegetarian and plant-based cheese, and a selection of plant mylks for beverages. In addition to vegetarian fare, our menu is predominantly wholefood plant-based with ample gluten-free options and choices for those on raw food diets. By request and if possible we are happy to cater for specific allergy needs. Children are most welcome and we have a children’s menu and high chairs available. Please note that we have a separate onion and garlic free menu available by request."

Always love visiting here when on holiday from Dunedin. The widest variety of vegan and gluten free food which is the yummiest! Uniquely wonderful food pairings, amazingly friendly vibes, great atmosphere and just a general calming ambience. I also love shopping at the stores adjoining.. so many things on offer! Slightly steep price-wise, but worth it because they offer such a range and variety of imported stuff under one roof.
Excellent service, the staff are very attentive, meal was really good , the general atmosphere was relaxed and friendly with background music . They have a tea shop with a great array of teas for sale along with a gift shop too. We went at lunchtime and had booked which I would reccomend as it was busy the Wednesday we were there, limited parking at the back. Would definately go back.
Went here on a Friday for dinner. The restaurant is aesthetically designed and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was serene, thanks to the theme. The menu had interesting vegetarian/vegan dishes from different cuisines mainly Indian. Staff were very courteous. Rarely have I seen a restaurant that went all out to ensure that customers were happy with the dishes served. When one of the customers was not satisfied with the dish, the chef from the kitchen personally came to the table and enquired about the problem. They even offered to not charge for the dish. Had nachos and found it to be really good. They also have a shop adjacent to the restaurant within their premises. Highly recommended if you are into vegetarian/vegan food!
Five of us went for lunch there yesterday. A great and varied menu. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and attentive. My vegan son was very happy with the Vegan options. A great gift shop there too. Highly recommended.

Loved my visit. Beautiful food. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The gift shop and music shop added to our experience. Highly recommend.
We had two bowls from today's menu and plus two smoothies. The bowl was nicely plated and the food was tasty. Simple but good with good ingredients. Liked it but I felt like it was little bit pricey.
Ordered the vegan big breakfast, cashew milk chai latte, almond mylk masala coffee latte, and vegan omlette. Honestly one of the best vegan breakfasts I've had. Everything was flavoured so well, the staff were so friendly, and the restaurant is just beautifully and aesthetically designed too. There are board games to play while you eat, and a small shop with vegan/health/meditation related products. Amazing.
Very nice restaurant with lucky staff. The did is very creative. The serve Western and Indian food. The have also a lot of vegan options if wanted and a little store inside of the restaurant. Also the design of the restaurant is very detailed and beautiful. Highly recommendable not just for vegetarians.
I was very satisfied. This is a great place. Nice staff, great service and lovely atmosphere. The food and drink looked amazing and was so delicious. I also really liked the small store with a lot of great goods. You can buy herbs, vegan and organic food supplements and many other nice things. Thank you!
