Hands down the best fish and chips from Logan to the coast, great prices too compared to anything else around and the serving is huge! Old school vibes 10/10 and photo after I split it up but the large $7 chips are a huge serve, deffs value for money here
Ordered 6 crumbed cocktail and 6 battered. Apparently 6 crumbed is the same cost as 1 battered!! This is beyond ridiculous!! How can they justify charging $1.20 for these crumbed cocktail. The biggest one was less than 1.5cm absolute rip off all of the battered were as big as the one in the photo
My family requested we try this place last night, although I’m not a fan of seafood the fish was amazing! And the lady at the counter gave such good service and was so kind and helpful. Good food, good prices, good portion sizes, good service, what more can you ask for? These guys know what it’s about. We will be back!
Really disappointed, .just moved to the area and looking for a local place...read the good reviews so placed a big order of cod, chips, potato scallops, calamari and garlic balls. The batter on the fish was terrible, probably the worst I've ever had. My family is not picky but we can't even eat it, it s so thick and greasy. Took the fish out the middle. Extremely disappointed.nDo not recommend at all
I'd noticed this place a few times and decided to stop in to grab some oysters for lunch. Well bugger me, it's an actual fish and chip shop, not just a place that sells seafood!nI ordered a half dozen oysters, a deluxe cod burger, and some chips.nI'm not sure how many oysters you've eaten, but I reckon I've eaten more. I'll be damned if I haven't eaten a squillion of em. You kinda just get used to the fact in every dozen or so there's one that's just not as fresh as the rest. It's always a relief to get that one first and finish on the freshest one. I'm telling you this because that didn't happen to me at the Local Fisho. These oysters were perfect! Plump, full of flavour, and as fresh as they come.nThe burger was absolutely delicious, and the chips were on point.nI'm sitting here watching thousands of people drive past on the freeway and shaking my head. No matter what they're doing for lunch, they're missing out.nnFuture edit.. it's still just as good. Legit
