My Beef and Guinness pie was very tasty. Decent pastry and nice, hearty, chunky beef put this pie up there in the ranks.nIt does not unfortunately warrant the price tag of $8.50. It's gonna need to be a bigger pie for that sort of moolah.
The best custard tart I have ever had. Such good filling and pastry. Amazing deal. Pie, drink and sweet for $12.90
Don't buy the pork pies if you are English. Nothing like them. We bought 4, but looking at them I shouldnt have. Tasteless and the pastry was hard not soft like it should be.
We got the family mince pie - was a really nice pie. Would liked to have purchased more but we were near the end of our holiday. They have a pie warmer with ready to eat pies etc. And frozen items. Along with groceries. The only negative is the lack of prices displayed on items.
Prob not the pies place I would go to anymore. Today I purchased 2 x steak pies and 2x Eccles cakes and ended up spending $30. Just wow, no pie place should be charging that much. Today was definitely my last visit.
