My Beef and Guinness pie was very tasty. Decent pastry and nice, hearty, chunky beef put this pie up there in the ranks.nIt does not unfortunately warrant the price tag of $8.50. It's gonna need to be a bigger pie for that sort of moolah.

Our favourite.nCornish Pastie is huge and great value! Packed with chunky meat and veg.nWe were so full we haven't had the Breakfast Pie yet!nScotch Pie is really tasty. Interesting to learn about scotch sausage meat having oats in it. And the pie itself does not have gravy, but instead is eaten with HP sauce.nnWe love your handmade pastries.nnGreat to have good old fashioned customer service, authentic food and product knowledge.
This is the best pie we’ve had in Australia!!nThe pie, mash, peas and gravy all tasted incredible. I also stocked up on plenty of British snacks whilst I was there. The shop was busy which is always a good sign but the staff, Rob and webby, still treated us so well and made the experience personalised. They spoke to us about the shop, our time in England/australia etc. we felt so welcome in their store. We’re definitely going to be regulars here!
21st Dec 2024nnI'm not about to start throwing 1 star reviews on this place, even though wenWe're hit & miss again today.nnA little feedback, though -nnEither the ovens are overloaded , or theynare trying to turn over more pies at anhigher cooking temperature .nnThis was the same experience as my last visit, where the base was well overcooked, and the filling was also a little dry .nnThere was also a mistake made with one of our 4 pies, where we ordered 2 beef & Guinness pies, both had the same markings, yet one was most definitely steak & kidneyyuk.nnThis place is not easy to find, and fornmost, it's a destination drive / stop, as opposed to impulse.nnThis place used to be my go-to, but I have been heading all the way to narangba to get my fix .nnLet's hope this place can reset after Christmas and get back to mastering their craft with authentic British pies & pastries.nn5 years earlier 2019nnWinter is nearly here, and if you love a good pie for yourself or even the entire family, they have absolutely everything you would ever want
Little one wanted a Syd's family pie for dinner for her birthday, so we got two! Amazing as always.. and so good she has eaten too much. Thanks for making her night!
