Excellent place for proper American burgers and tap beers! We ordered the KENTUCKY DERBY - Twice Fried Chicken, Sriracha Mayo, Red Cabbage Slaw, American Hi-Melt Cheese $15.50 and the NASHVILLE DELUXE - Buttermilk Fried Chicken coated in spiced Nashville-style seasoning, thick-cut pickles, house-made ranch, and lettuce $16.50. Both were perfectly cooked, seasoned well and yummy!!! You can order the TWICE COOKED CHIPS with the burger $5 or on the side $9, which we found is enough for two people. We will definitely come back again to try their beef burgers the next time!
Service was great, staff were very friendly. It's located very centrally in the CBD of Melbourne. The food was good. I tried a Rushmore burger with the twice cooked fries. The burger was nice but a little bit dry. Would be willing to try it out again.

From the bright daylight outside, you're immediately transitioned into a dark interior that's a little bit grungy. Perfect atmosphere for a casual drink after work, but not so much for daytime activities. Service here is great. After telling them we were sharing our burger, the chef was considerate enough to slice the burgers in half - taking away the mess and difficulty from our hands. Appreciate! The food was decent. Buns are fluffy, and burger combinations well thought out. Smaller, the Kentucky derby was twice fried with Hi-melt cheese. Incredibly savoury, the buns soaked up the sauces and the red sauce gave some textural reprieve. Onion rings were decent but I've had crunchier I would've liked it crunchier!. The Nashville Deluxe is a great choice if you want a lighter chicken option. With cos lettuce and ranch, it's creamer than its Kentucky cousin but also as filling. I was expecting more crunch with the Twice cooked chips, but the chipotle ketchup was delicious. I enjoyed its sweetness compared to the dark smokiness and alcoholic ting of the bourbon BBQ sauce.
Best burger I’ve ever had in Melbourne! Had the classic burger with a side of onion rings and boy did it hit the spot. Perfect ratio of ingredients and the deep fried stuff was so fresh and crunchy! Great ambiance as well, especially at night - it makes you feel you’re at an American pub!
Super good burgers and beer. I had the classic it was fresh and perfectly sized. The separate pickle to be enjoyed bite for bite was a welcome touch. The location has a relaxed outside Laneway seating which I enjoyed on the nice night. Inside is dimly lit and intimate setting with loads of character. Great selection of drinks and beers.
One of my favourite burger places in town. Consistently good beer selection, great food, and the decor is amazing. On the food: both the beef & chicken burgs are exactly aa they should be, with a variety of set flavours, plus a few important optional extras delicious sour pickles are the highlight. As for sides, the fries are juat right, but the onion rings are fantastic. Beers change often enough, both on tap and from the fridge. And the bar staff are pretty knowledgeable about everything on offer, so ask them if you're not sure.
Googled best burger near me. Did not disappoint. Managers recommendation. Classic Burger with Sweet Potato Fries washed down with a Bad Shepheard Lager. Best all round burger and fries I've had. Lovely selection of Whiskey too. Get some.
The nashville chicken burger was okay. Chicken portion wasn’t enough to cover the size of the bun, which wasn’t good. Chips were yum, crunchy and well seasoned and the chipotle ketchup was delicious. Not sure if I’ll be back but it was overall a good experience. Staff was nice and the bar had a good vibe to it.
Excellent customer service, great delicious Burger and a quiet place city to sneak in beer with food during lunch time. Love the Mornington XPA on tap Small feedback. Beers comes only in Pots and Pint sizes.
BONDO BURGER BOY I was lurking around the city to find my next burger venue when i stumbled into this BURGER BOYS. These guys used to be a good truck from what i remember so i was keen to try the upgraded venue. Service was the start was 5 stars. Friendly, accomodating and efficient. Guy at front door does a good job , girls behind the bar at all over it. Ordered a RUSHMORE , NASHVILLE DELUXE & ONION RINGS basket + 2 cocktails. The bartender was great in helping us pick cocktails. cocktails were ok but for 24$ a pop i expect a pimpin cocktail not something i can whip up at home easily. Nearly 50$ for 2 underwhelming cocktails. Not on even if it is the city. At least have some specials. The burgers + onion rings came out fast and they were busy so that was impressive, kudos to the chef. Burgers were both really tasty well priced. My partner found them to be a good size, but I found them a tad small. So if your a big unit you'll need 2 coz the onion ring serving for a basket was small also. 12$ for onions. they were tasty and well cut. Overall it was good quality. Not the easiest place to find. Not so easy to find parking city Great staff keep up the good work Would recommend and return but maybe wash it down with a beer instead of cocktails next time.
