Huxtaburger

I've dined here three times, a few months apart, and the quality has been consistently excellent. The beef patties are flavoursome and well seasoned, the bun is just right, and the toppings are plentiful and fresh. It always arrives at the perfect temperature too. I ordered a chicken sandwich this time the Bam Bam, and it was just as good as its beef counterpart the Theo – tender, crispy, well seasoned. My brother ordered the Doris and enjoyed that as well. I grabbed some onion rings too – decent, but not nothing to write home about. They were a bit bland needed a dusting of salt or should come with a sauce. Staff are friendly and provide quick table service. The Huxtaburger app has some great deals – definitely worth ordering and paying through that!

Absolutely delicious! Ordered the Theo burger, gravy fries, chicken wings and chicken tenders. Everything delivered on quality and taste and I will be back to try some other fan favourites.Food: 5/5

Funky burger place, delicious purser's...Huxtaburger and the Theo Burger, came out quick and friendly staff.

Great hamburgers and shakes. Worth the trip. Used to live next door but now have to do take two trams. Good service. Not crowded for lunch. Seating inside or out. Toilets upstairs.

I loved Huxtaburger. It was one of the Melbourne originals, and was one of the best in my eyes. Dine in it’s usually great, however since the rise of food delivery like UberEats etc it’s all gone down hill. There should be very little to no difference in quality of food via a delivery service. I’m happy to accept some temperature differences but when what looks and tastes like an absolute pile of c*#p arrives, then I’m pretty disappointed. One bite and straight in the bin. Places like Huxtaburger need to start lifting their game for food delivery services, it’s hit rock bottom over recent years. Also, I don’t know why the hell they changed the shakes, but the new shakes are a massive let down, they taste ‘fake’. The originals were amazing and tasted like they loved making shakes. Last time I ever order delivery, and possibly venture in store. Careless, tasteless, and 100% disappointing.

WOW - THE NON-MEAT BURGER IS *EVEN BETTER THAN* IT'S MEAT EQUIVALENT If, like me, you worry about the impact the meat industry is having on the fragile environment but really enjoy a juicy burger, Huxtaburger has come to rescue your conscience!! We ordered the meat-free burger via Uber Eats and thought it would be "just OK" but were really surprsied at how good it tasted!! I'm now a total convert to meat-free burgers with a win-win to my health and that of the planet! Food was slightly cooler than we'd like when it was delivered about 15 minutes between restaurant and our house but otherwise a delicious meal.

Ordered food delivery from them, burgers are delicious, so as the fries and chicken ribs. Love their buns, which are slightly crispy. Pretty well packed in environmental friendly packages and potion is good.

We did a best burgers of Melbourne comp a few years back and Huxtaburger used to have arguably the best beef burgers around. Our panel of judges were split down the middle between this and the beef burger from Belle's Diner now Belles Hot Chicken. And whilst the mighty Huxtaburger appears to have slid from the throne a bit, the chicken burger we had was seriously good. Might have just caught them on an off night with the beef one. Will have to come back to put it to the test again. If you haven't tried their burgers you need to give them a shot at least once. Their buns are on the sweeter side, which is something to be aware of if you're not a fan of that style of burger. They've got a decent beer selection as well and the little bar sort of place next door is a nice place to sit and chill.

Chips and Gravy were on point. Onion rings were great and not overly oily. I had the chicken, bacon and avocado burger. Was a good burger, just a tad more oily than I like. Still, this aside, great burger. Fresh. Would definately be back again, and would recommend.
