The Italian Cannon Hill (formerly the Cannon Hill Tavern) has reopened its doors to its customers offering an exciting new Italian Menu.

Sunday: 10am - 11pm

This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to. Really good steak and great deserts.

All the decor is cheap looking with seemingly no one uniting theme. The food is either completely tasteless or overseasoned depending on the day and a touch pricey for the inconsistencies. Portion sizes are good enough. Reasonable selection of draft beer but the choices are very samey.

We came in for a knock off beer, and was greated by one of the rudest bar staff I've ever encountered. She Hurried our group every time we approached the bar, obviously did not want to be there and was absolutely rude with some serious backhanded comments and remarks every time we were in ear shot. Honestly I dont know how she still has her jaw,  let alone her job.

We have been going to the Italian for a while now. Francesca and her team run the venue extremely smoothly. The food is what traditional Italian should be and beyond delicious.
