The Italian Cannon Hill (formerly the Cannon Hill Tavern) has reopened its doors to its customers offering an exciting new Italian Menu.

Beautifully cooked golden brown schnitzel  great set up, nice ambiance. Will be back for trying other things on the menu

It’s definitely a pretty place, however our food took ages to arrive, to which our drinks still hadn’t even been made, apparently ‘we just got the docket’ even though we were halfway through our meal. Regarding the food most were very delicious but we ordered the seafood marinara and the mussels were still closed; When we asked the waiter why she asked the chef and they said it was fine and ‘normal’ it is not fine or normal. After a couple of minutes, the table next to us received the same thing but the mussels where open. What I don’t understand is why they made no effort to fix the dish, or even any of their mistakes all they said was ‘sorry’ when we literally had to ask 3 times just to receive our drinks. We then ordered dessert and the tiramisu was amazing so I can’t hate on everything I just wish we didn’t have so many mistakes on such a special night.

The Tavern was a really nice experience. We came here after bounce with the family. The venue is really well kept. The food was really amazing and the customer service was just as good. The place was really clean and was great for a beer and pizza while watching the football. Highly recommended and worth checking out next time you need a local pub or somewhere to take the family for lunch or dinner.

I'm Japanese moved to Australia last week.   Coming to here is the first good memory of my life in Australia.nnBefore came to here, I couldn't eat something good because cultural difference makes shopping difficult. But today, I could enjoy eating thanks for nice staffs and nice pizza and steak. Here is very different from restaurant in Japan, but I like so much. I want to come again.

I personally enjoy Alcoholic Ginger Beer, ice and lime. This is the only place that serves brown ginger beer for $11.50.. with no options to run the taps for the nicer parts? “It’s the barrel not us” I must just get lucky at other venues..nnor is this beverage being served wrong for the highest price?
