Food was fine and I liked the variety available. Coffee tasted good and the music wasn't to bad. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive to the dining experience.Food: 5/5
Quiet café with good takeaway coffee. Friendly staff. I didn't see the menu, but heard vegan orders being taken. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, wheelchair accessible. Dietary restrictions: Vegan options.
Coffee is great. Food is delish. Proximity to station might fool you into thinking you can grab a quick latte before you catch the train but I’d advise caution, they are very SLOW, have missed many trains waiting for my order
Good coffee and a decent venue to spend some time, much more space outdoors than inside so if it's great if it's sunny. Good use of space. Pretty busy with the brunch trade, expect a bit of a wait for coffees, but not a big deal if you in for a chilled morning with friends of by yourself. Food looked alright has it was coming past.
Some reviewer complained about a 30-min wait on granola. Just remember we can choose to eat granola at home. Toasties on the other hand! Option of salt, pepper and hot sauce would've made this incredible pickled onion with feta was genius though.
this is a little gem close to the train station. Atmosphere is so relaxing and calm, staff is welcoming and the place looks like those country style cafes that i personally love! coffee is okay
Absolutely beautiful place..!! Highly recommend to drop in and visit. Amazing staff and vibe. Be sure to check it out & keep a sensational Cafe in operation..!!!! Food: 5/5
I had only a coffee but the ambiance was good, pleasant outdoor seating and friendly service - what more could anyone want?Food: 3/5
Adjacent to Northcote station, Herbert is in an excellent location. The coffee and service here are decent and the atmosphere is friendly. I had the Boris toasted sandwich, which was delicious but oily, and a little on the expensive side $18.50 for a standard coffee and sandwich feels a bit steep. Still, I'd recommend it, especially if you're looking to avoid the High Street crowds.
Great phenomenon and great coffee. I normally go there in the morning and feel like it’s lots of people. But today I went there around lunch time, wow, it was heaps of people hanging out there!
