Best bacon and eggs breakfast i've had in Newcastle. Not cheap though, $20, and only one piece of toast, but a big thick piece, maybe it's sourdough or something, I don't know, but really, in this case, you're getting what you pay for. Generous with bacon, and really good quality all round
Dropped in for a coffee and quick bite to eat on the way to work. Luke Owner and Barista Extraordinaire was getting people's coffee squeezed out super fast, and the bacon & egg roll was superb. The yolk was just the right amount of runny without losing all the good stuff in to the box!
The wombat is always happy: The flat whites before work are fantastic, even better accompanied with the delicious brunch options. After dark it gets even better; Incredible craft beer line up. Join the wombat and be happy too.
We came on a Saturday night and the lovely waitress managed to squeeze us in. We ordered the honey baked brie and it was a relatively big serving with tortilla chips on the side. The pan seared barramundi was lovely just as the chicken schnitzel burger. We left as happy wombats! recommend
Great service, great food. Burger, chips, and squid and crab salad all delicious with a lovely glass of prosecco
The spit roasted wombat was a heavy meal. But worth the $70. Interesting taste, kind of like chicken but really dry and tough.
Food was first class. Drinks were great. Staff were great as well. Great place for a relaxed evening out.
Super venue. Laid back, welcoming atmosphere. People with disability friendly. Big thumbs up.
