Story

The Gym@CDU is open to all members of the public. We have a great range of exercise classes including Yoga, Pump, Pilates and Zumba, a well equipped gym and friendly qualified staff.

A casual visit to the gymnasium or group fitness class is $12.00, five visit passes are $55.00 and valid for 3 months.

Prices for public membership range between $90.00 for 1 month to $760.00 for 12 months combined membership, with discounts available for gym or group fitness use only and further discounts for seniors, students and concession.

I have been working out in The Gym@CDU for four months. So far it is going amazing. Staff is friendly and clears any doubt about the equipment and how to use it immediately. Gym is very clean and have plethora of equipment that can be used according to your workout plan. I haven’t attended any group workout classes so cannot say anything about those I assume they must be good as well. Price of membership are a bit higher than other Gym’s is the area but overall it’s amazing.
I'm writing this review as a non CDU staff or student Relatively small gym. Cost for a non CDU staff/student is about $20/week. Limited equipment, only 3 treadmills and ellipticals each. Often the treadmills are non functional, this morning 2 out the 3 were broken. For the cost they're asking for, you can join a significantly better and well equipped gym Also, they're not a 24 hour entry gym, only from 6 AM to 9 PM, which arguably is adequate for 99% of population, but still, for the cost, you can easily get a 24 hour gym's membership So overall, good for CDU students and staff, not so good for others. PS - they do have one week's free membership as a trial, so feel free to check it out on your own ;-
Newly reopened with a variety of training and exercise equipment. Clean facilities, cool air-con, good security and eduroam WiFi
Big enough with a good range of equipment and free weight. Seperate area designated for group classes. Showers and other amenities of a high standard.
Awesome gym. Nice size and great classes too. Steer well clear of the thieving chain-store gyms. Best in Darwin. Well done CDU!
Relatively new equipment in working order. Not busy, so you do not need to wait long to use your preferred equipment
The gym is closing down so there's not much point in reviewing it.
Well equipped, clean and welcoming. Would recommend
