First of all the service at the groove train Southland is horrendous!!! It took them 1 hour and a half for our entree. And for main I ordered a chicken shinitzel, it wasn’t crispy at all, and all wet inside and there chips were undercooked. Never going back

Ordered Prawn & Chorizo linguini... terrible!
Southland Groove Train - 8.30pm 20/3/18
Asked for Mushrooms instead of Chorizo. 
It would’ve been delicious, if they didn’t pour a whole bottle of dry chilli into it!!
Didn’t even use fresh chilli... slack. 
I love hot spicy food and normally order ‘hot’ when buying Indian/Thai. 
I didn’t get offered a replacement meal... just for it to be fixed up. As I didn’t trust this option. 
To be honest I don’t think the waitress believed me. 
I paid for it & I took it home, hoping to fix it with cream. 
Despite adding a 375g of double cream to it... it was only just bare-able. 
The waitress was polite. I have been to quite a few Groove Trains. I am not so impressed with Southland outlet.

Terrible. BLT had dirt all over the bread, it was dry and disgusting. Staff were really rude.

Like many other chain cafes/restaurants, the menu is extensive. The dining area spacious and service quick. It's pretty seldom you find bad food in Melbourne and groove train sits in the so-so range. There's nothing spectacular here. Just easy, quick and accessible food. However, if I want a space to do my casual reading in the afternoon that opens pass 3pm, I'll come here.

Nice waiter.. but waited a while for the drinka of water.. then the pancakes we ordered were possibly the worst we have ever had. Nice venue.. went during the day so it was quiet so no real excuse for why they were so bad. I ate half of 1 of the 3 on my plate.  Waitress didnt even think to ask if there was a problem.
