Staff were genuine, helpful and friendly, they were able to accommodate the two of us during the booked out new year holiday period in a family room for two nights and they, offered a reduced rate without us asking due to an online booking clash that wasn't their fault, It was so nice to be treated like a VIP when everyone else we called treated us like a burden when we asked for any vacancies. Everything was clean and tidy with quality linen and towels. Facilities were more than adequate. Thank you for a great stay and great service.
Great location, walking distance to everything with the board walk across the road. We walked in and booked a room for 1 night, ended up staying 6 nights. Clean and comfortable room with laundry and cooking facilities on site, car parking outside our room.Rooms: 5/5
Recently stayed booked 3 bedroom, apartment disappointed on arrival we had 2 rooms. We wanted a family holiday but we ended up being separated If we had of had advanced notice would have book elsewhere. Room 3 which has 2 bedrooms, you walk through one to get to the back room. The 1st room does not have smoke detector, electric blanket cord is taped up with wires showing. Room 6 has a glass front door, which lets the light in all night.. Rooms clean, plenty of hot water ,
Very disappointed with the booking experience. I booked over the phone for 1 night and they gave me reservation number. Price was $145. I asked them for email confirmation and they refused to do so. 2 weeks later they called and left a voice message that my booking was for 2 nights. Few minutes later I rang and same guy who did the booking and left voice message picked up. I said booking was for 1 night and he went no actually your booking has disappeared due to IT issues. We only had a hand written note that you needed room for 2 nights. I was very frustrated hearing all these. I said I can give you reservation number so that you you can track. He said it doesn't work. I went not my issue. I rang and booked. What else do I need to do? He said you'd better book online. Online booking price was $225 at this stage. They didn't take ownership of their system faults. He left me with no choice but to cancel and book somewhere else. Although there was rooms available online he told me we don't have any rooms available and your booking is cancelled. I don't recommend this motel at all.
Nice rooms, great service, camp kitchen and BBQ for all your cooking at a very reasonable price. Rooms: Some of the newer rooms are small but cosy. The larger rooms are great even if a bit older. They have all you need Nearby activities: Right on the Esplanade, not far from The Central pub and close walk to Woolworths, other shops and food outlets. Very handy location Walkability: Can pretty much walk anywhere along the esplanade to shops. 5min or less walk to supermarket and pub Food & drinks: Lots of food outlets, pub, KFC, Maccas and many other options. Nicks is next door to hotel along with pizza, fish and chip shop
You get what you pay for, I guess. Our room had a bad odour - particularly in the bathroom. And the shower base was very slippery - not good, especially as we are not young!! Great location though but would not recommend. There must be heaps of better places in Lakes that are around that price.
So well placed in the centre of The Esplanade shopping and dining area. Scrupulously clean; effectively three kitchens in two blocks, central to all units and the pool/BBQ area.
Stayed over Christmas weekend. In central town. Room was great and comfortable. Either it's soundproof rooms or the people staying near my room was quite but it was fantastic.only issues was taking a shower was a bit difficult due to the shower head placed low but other then that everything was fine. Great place for family to stay. There a kitchenette area and pool. Friendly staff from reception to house keeping.

Such good quality for the price. Amazing location, comfortable, clean and overall a fantastic stay. Staff were super friendly. Big bathroom and huge walk-in shower, comfy bed. No complaints whatsoever, definitely recommendRooms: 5/5
