Stayed here off season, and it was great! The room was out the back and was quiet. For the price, it's fantastic as it's walking distance to everything. Was a little quirky with the 2 heaters, 1 quiet the other loud, and finally, I think the lounge chairs facing the bed could be replaced with a bench to put luggage on... unless you like sitting down facing the master bed. Oh, I do like how the sign does advertise that it has a colour TV in their rooms, classic 80s!
Peter and his business partners are fabulous hosts, welcoming with a refreshing sense of humour, they keep extraordinary clean rooms right in the heart of lakes Entrance and the new Vietnamese restaurant serves a flawless meals at the most reasonable price in town, they are community minded people and work in conjunction with other local businesses and community groups.
Best accommodation in Lakes Entrance. I have been going to Lakes Entrance for over 60 years and stayed in a lot of accommodation, but #1 The Esplanade is way out in front. Yes, you do pay for what you get, but if you can, then do it.nThe views from anything above ground level are beautiful. Lots of walks and day trips very close by.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The location was great, we hardly used the car as we walked most places. The price was excellent for a king room and the reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay again.
Wonderful place, especially for the price.nI'd also like to give my thanks to the friendly and extremely professional housekeeping staff. They made our stay extremely enjoyable.
