If you want to experience a touch of fine dining with some familiar favourites, then this is the place for you. The soft shell crab was sublime. The prawn risotto was out of this world. But I enjoyed the grilled chicken. I did not think I would be full, but I surprisingly was. It was an explosion of flavour with each bite.
Dispensary in Mackay is a charming breakfast spot that I recently visited. I ordered the breakfast bruschetta and found it to be quite delicious. The only downside was that I couldn't swap out the rocket for a different green, as I'm not a big fan of rocket. The coffee at Dispensary was top-notch and a perfect complement to the meal. The service I received from the friendly lady was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Despite the minor green preference issue, I enjoyed my time at Dispensary and would happily return for another meal. If you're looking for a cozy cafe with good food and a pleasant atmosphere, Dispensary is definitely worth a visit in Mackay.
If I could rate higher I would! Incredible service, food and atmosphere! Huge shout out to our servers Jiorgio and James, our amazing bartender Tegan, and Alex in the kitchen! You made our girls night one to remember !!!! Thank you for the laughs and stories, you guys are truly the best!!
Would recommend for a date night. Not cheap but everything was really lovely. That's tuna in the photo and yes, it WAS cooked well.
Good operating hours, where some places nearby close early on a Saturday the dispensary stays open delivery a high quality experiencennTable service inside, great coffee, cold beer good food. Across the road from a public toilet that sings to you when you flush. What’s not to love
