One of my favourite spots in Mackay! The food and coffee are super tasty, and you can really tell everything’s made with love. The staff are always friendly, professional, and make you feel welcome. The service is quick, and they really care about their customers. Perfect place to chill with family or friends. Totally recommend it!
nnI stopped in at 9th Lane Grind and ordered a coffee with the zucchini/corn fritters — both were excellent. The coffee was smooth and well-made, and the fritters were fresh, full of flavour, and nicely balanced.nnI added scrambled tofu on the side, which was a standout — soft, light, and with a subtle curry flavour that paired perfectly with the fritters. It made the meal feel even more satisfying while still being wholesome and healthy.nnThe atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a really enjoyable breakfast — I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend the zucchini/corn fritters with the scrambled tofu if you’re after something delicious and a little different!
The calamari salad on the lunch menu is perfect. What a gem of a spot, outstanding innovation for our little regional town! You’re always my favourite treat spot when we head into town, thank you!
As a coffee enthusiast, 9th Lane Grind quickly became my favourite cafe in Mackay. The coffee is on point, service is friendly and efficient, and the food is good. They also have plenty of take away salads, wraps and other yummy bites. I've tried just about everything and have been repeatedly impressed. Highly recommend this cafe
Brilliant and lovely staff, everyone is so welcoming and warm, you can come in and pretty much guarantee a smile will come to your face atleast once.nnI love waffles, the waffles here are a little different to what I’m used to, but I gave the Biscoff waffles a go, they look great! I just wanted more volume to the waffles and ice cream to match perhaps that’s just my preference, but that’s why I did 4 stars.nnPerfect otherwise!
