After reopening Bridge Restaurant served us a fabulous meal. There is a tapas menu which were very good portion sizes and very yummy. The service was excellent and timely and the food and drinks well priced and very tasty. We were delighted at the reopening and we'll be back again soon. Great night!!
Saturday 15th January - We had visitors from out-of-town so decided to get some take away fish and chips with a side of calamari from the Bridge at Mooloolaba. The fish could best be described as "Fish Fingers" very small portions and rubbery. The calamari was just OK. Most disappointing as we used to frequent this place in the past and whilst the decor was not too flash back then, the seafood was always excellent.
The new reno is great...a lovely ambience at night. Good quality pub style fish and chips and generous portions. We enjoyed the night. Our waitress Bella was very sweet.
Were waiting with anticipation for a restaurant so close i could have walked. The write up of the asian chef made it sound great Ordered 2 glasses of wine that took 30 minutes to come. Ordered the croquettes not seasoned as entree and jungle curry with over cooked prawns undercooked chicken and bland as main. They both came together more than an hour later. Admittedly it was opening day - come on guys you can do better. An amazing spot. The menu read ok. Thats about all the positive.
Had a great night at The Bridge tonight. Great setting, lovely meals, good wine list and great staff. What more can you ask for?
Very disappointed , no wonder we were the only ones there for lunch . Most expensive fish & chips I've ever had . Small portions . Only three choices for mains . I wish this place could go back to how it was a few years ago .
