I went here for a wax in January, but have only now gotten around to writing a review. I had such an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience here that I feel it's important to leave a review, even if it's a few months later. People need to be warned before spending their money here.

I arrived on a very quiet day in early January and was served by a very unfriendly middle-aged woman (I only mention her age so  that people can be forewarned if they choose to go here and end up having her wax them). It being the height of summer, I was extremely surprised that it was completely dead and they appeared to have just one person working. The woman was rude and abrupt from the minute she saw me. She was clearly in a rush (maybe I was her last customer before her lunch break?) and did the fastest rush job that I've ever experienced.

But the worst part of the entire experience was that before she started waxing me, she instructed me to just strip off in front of her. At every other place I've been to, they leave the room so I can undress with some privacy and lay under a towel and wait. I felt totally uncomfortable. I did not want to take my clothes off while a stranger was watching me. She didn't even have the courtesy to look away. She made me feel rushed even as I was stripping off and taking my shoes off. It was really awkward.

The wax itself was over in less than five minutes. Given how careless and rushed it was, the job itself was actually okay. Completely average. I've had worse and much better. Her manner eventually got better and she became a bit friendlier, but she was so unprofessional and the entire atmosphere was so unprofessional and unpleasant. I will never be going back here. All I can suggest is that your staff need better training, Brazilian Hut.

Went there for a tan which was completely rushed. It was a 2hr dark tan (which I washed off after 3 hours) which I have done before with no issues; it is now 24hrs later and there is barely a visible tan. Disgusted in this service and annoyed now that I paid for a tan for my event that was not given/has developed properly.

First few visits with BH can be a bit full on (undressing without privacy) but once you get how they work it's really good, you're in & out quickly and they direct you for everything. The thing is you have to remember going in here that you're not coming to a salon to relax and have a facial and a pedi and some calming music playing in background, the whole point is getting in and out quickly with a good service provided. 

Both of the ladies I have had appointments with have been great, friendly and very informative. I didn't rate 5 stars as one particular time I called up straight after my appointment from the car on way home because I thought it was a discount for rebooking within a certain time frame - the girl I spoke to said this was right and said she would note on system to add credit to my next visit as they hadn't added the discount to my charges that day, anyways upon returning when querying this when I was paying my next appointment the girl at reception told me it was a mistake and she hadn't checked properly and I wasn't entitled to the discount, after going back and forward with her she eventually agreed to putting it through but being sure to keep telling me I wasn't entitled to it. But if a business has advised this to a customer, they should really follow through with what they have said, especially when she blatantly admitted she was the one who spoke to me and she hadn't really checked properly, That's not a customers problem. And then to argue with a customer about it -'I just found this highly unprofessional. I said to this staff member that the money wasn't the issue , I would pay it if need be but the point is the principal, it was poor customer
