We had the best Christmas lunch at the  Vic Hotel in Woodend, the entire team should be immensely proud of their efforts & service delivery.nnThere wasn't a single staff member that looked like they didn't want to be there - collectively the team set the mood for a happy festive lunch -  we were delighted they promoted local wines as well.nnThe food was first rate, the serving sizes extremely generous, staff didn't just assume we were ready for the next course, we were asked after each one if we were ready for the next one - we actually had to take most of the dessert platter home with us. Our favourite from the dessert platter was the Persian Love Cake, it was outstanding.nnThe table service was terrific & in stark contrast to the disastrous Christmas lunch we had the year before at a Bendigo  venue that I won't nane - and only $20 more.nnWe will definitely be booking in for 2026 Christmas lunch.

Lovely pub, food was excellent. I had the chicken snitz, one of the best in a long time. Potato salad, applslaw was magnificent. Burger was great and the pie delish. Highly recommend this place for a Sunday lunch.

Absolutely amazing!!nWe have been a number of times. Good meet-in-the-middle destination for our family. Every single time, staff have been welcoming and go above and beyond expectations. They are amazing! Food is beautiful and none of our crew have ever left feeling hungry even my bottomless stomach boys. Atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a country pub, warm and friendly.nIf you get the chance, drop in and support this fabulous pub and staff!! But be prepared, because you'll be back for sure!!

What a great country pub. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff were very courteous, helpful and had such good personalities. The food was excellent and being a Saturday night didn't take long to fill the tables.

We had Emily catering for Adams 60th last weekend at our home for close to 80 guests. From the moment we rang to organise this Emily has been nothing but amazing, professional, friendly and so easy to work with! The food was beautifully presented, delicious and there was so much off it! All our guests complimented how good it was! It was a big part of what made it a great night! Thank you so much Emily, Tristanchef and Jasperwaiter for doing such an amazing job! We are so impressed!xxx
