The best op shop in Woodend, selling interesting good value items for you to purchase to help the charity cause
Went to drop off some items today, many of decent value as I just don’t have use for them anymore and can’t be bothered selling.nGot there early 10min to sort through items and was approached by staff saying it was illegal to leave items when it’s not store hours. To which I replied that I was just sorting through and would bring it in when they open.nI proceeded into the store with some items after they opened, only to be approached by the same lady asking to go through my items to ensure they were acceptable, saying they have no services to clean clothes and everything must be pristine.nNo one has ever asked me that before when I have donated items, and I feel like a judgment was made of myself not dressed up as it was my day off, and because I was sorting through items in my car, some of which were gardening stuff headed to my school and perhaps looked a bit rough around the edges.nI said as much, and was then approached by another staff member who said ‘we don’t accept rubbish’ in an accusatory tone.nI of course was not and would never dump rubbish at an opp shop, and was merely trying to do the right thing.nWhen I was obviously upset by their comments, there was no apologies, or reassurances of what they might of being trying to achieve. Only a sense of ‘betterness’ and looking down their nose at me.nI will not be shopping or donating there again.
Pure greed this shop. This is not a charity, it's a business that shod be taxed accordingly. $5 for a blu ray that still has a cash converters $4 price. Come in to this place for pricing giggles onyl!
Very clean, well laid out. Very polite staff. Prices reasonable.
Prices are ridiculousnTalk about price gouging from free donated items. This is supposed to be a opportunity to get a bargain not be ripped offnYou should be ashamed
