Never any staffed checkouts open. When I asked a staff member to open one they refused. We spend thousands of dollars here a month and have to pack our own bags, as if Coles dont make enough money. I feel for the elderly that have to do the same. What's next? growing our of food and packaging it too?
The worst customer service. Staff hanging around the back freezer section talking and playing on their phones. Politely asked them to move so I could access freezer product and one grunted at me. Did a lap around the supermarket and returned to freezer section and the same too employees standing, talking, still on their phones. All self service checkouts and no customer service at all. Felt sorry for the elderly customer trying to pack her heavy items. Exuberant prices too. I’m so disheartened that this is what the supermarket experience has become. Won’t be back.
The checkouts are all self serve. What happened to good old human interaction. Jobs have been replaced by machines and it's not for the better. Terrible Coles.
