The Bell Tower

About

This outstanding landmark links the City to the River. The Bell Tower is one giant musical instrument of considerable historical and cultural significance with a dedication to become a world-centre of excellence in the art of English change ringing.

Story

The towering glass spire of The Bell Tower located where Perth meets the Swan River in vibrant Barrack Square, is a touchstone for Australian and international tourists.

The Bell Tower is one of the largest musical instruments on earth and was custom built to house the historically significant bells of Saint Martin in the Fields Church, the parish church of Buckingham Palace in Trafalgar Square, London. These bells date back to before the 14th century!

One of Western Australia's most unique and visited attractions, The Bell Tower offers tourists fascinating displays on these famous bells and the ancient art of bell ringing, as well as stunning 360 degree views of Perth city skyline and the Swan River from the sixth floor open air observation deck.

The Bell Tower is the only place in the world where you can view bell ringing in action or where you can even have a go at bell ringing yourself in one of their interactive demonstrations.

Located at Barrack Square; just a short five minute stroll from the city of Perth.

I've visited in 2015 with my children. The Bell Tower is the must see tourist attraction. There were lots of things to see including Love Locks. We enjoyed the hearing of the bell ringing here.
Had not been since the day it opened. Took the 5 yr old grandson and did the Bell ringing experience. FABULOUS. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful! Great gift shop and the $2 coin bell souvenir the best for a young person to add to the coin collection. What a wonderful view and great exercise walking the steps.
Stunning attraction with beautiful viewing deck. Hearing those Bells sent shivers down my spine. Well worth visiting.
The Bell Tower should definitely be in your must visit places list if you are visiting Perth. This is a very beautiful place located beside the Swan river. From the top of this tower, you would get amazing mesmerizing views. There are quite a couple of good food options over here.
Nice place to hang out. There are many food & drink options just across Elizabeth Quay. Swan River is beautiful.
