Built in the early 20th Century & completed in 1903... The Heritage Listed Bridge is one of a kind, it has been beautifully restored over the years... Black Swans on the lamp posts, this Beautiful Bridge was built to last... I love how it surrounds Yagan Square... Possibly one of the busiest bridges in Perth & definitely the most stylish...!!
Heritage Listed bridge built in the 20th century and shaped like a horseshoe. Creates an important link between Northbridge and the Perth CBD. Area has recently been reinvigorated, since the opening of the Yagan Square precinct in 2018, which sits next to the bridge.
When walking over the bridge, it had interesting views of the station. But it was a little confusing as I was actually trying to find the entrance of the station. Be aware that Google maps walking directions might not take you the most direct route to the station from the north.
The saddest part about this bridge is that while it attempts to connect the two ends of the bridge, and it does manage, it does such a poor job that we might as well swim across. It's quite depressing to have to see this bridge on the day to work, and it really makes me want to patch up the paintwork ever so slightly. Upkeepers, please give this bridge more love in the future.

The horseshoe bridge has connected Northbridge & Perth since 1904, it now sits around Yagan Square and the new digital tower which replaced a massive billboard that used to feature a continually updating billboard showing the amount of smoking related deaths worldwide.
Old bridge located near the train station in the city center. You can see it as you walk around the Market Hall as well, particularly near the Street Food Eatery area.
Can't turn right onto horseshoe bridge from Wellington Street westbound. Poor effort HS bridge!! Solid 1/10! Would not recommend this bridge to anyone! Take your bridge business elsewhere!!!!
