The Beef Shed is a 100% owned and operated Australian company, Established in 2012 by a group butchers with over 100 years combined experience in the industry. After watching supermarkets and butchers selling low quality overpriced meat for years we decided the public deserved more. We created The Beef Shed to sell the highest quality meat that Australia has to offer the the public at the lowest prices.

Excellent range of bulk meat options, including lamb, pork and chicken. Good variety of roasts, rib options and other speciality cuts available. Prices are very competitive. Good shelf life as well courtesy of the vacuum sealed packaging. Will be shopping here again.

Paying $79 for a piece of meat that's off is unacceptable and more needs to be done when turning stock over. Tried calling to report this but no one answers the phone.

The Beef Shed is great. Some very tasty morsels. Some great quality cuts. Very generous sizes. And very humane prices. Oh, and some cuts that at times just inspire you.
Bought a $40 steak, reverse seared on the kettle webber. Tasted very foul had to stop eating and give it to the dogs.
Great range and fantastic pricing for budget conscientious. Meat is good quality for the price, but not top grade which you wouldn't expect for the price. They also have good sales.
Awsome cuts of meat, even whole produce available. While you're there grab your rub, seasoning and sauces. Truly a one stop shop for all your meat needs.
Bought $60 worth of gravy beef, got it sliced, went home, froze it straight away without opening. A few days later I thaw it and it was ROTTEN! Had a strong putrid smell with lots of greenish parts. $60 binned Had read in reviews about a few others buying rotten meat and thought they were exaggerating. Bought chicken a few times and it’s always been nice and fresh. My 2 stars are for that.
I have been here twice. On both occasions I have purchased off meat. I let the first occasion slide as it was just $2 pet mince. Second occasion, I purchased Beef Spare Ribs on the 8th March with a best before date of 4th March – didn’t even think to check the date as I believe there should be a certain level of trust that they have standards. On 9th March, I opened the packet – meat was covered in green slime and smelt disgusting! This is when I checked the date. VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST! Yep, it was only $10.47 but I am not a charity case – I requested a refund. They were happy to do that on their terms: I bring the meat back in along with the receipt which I still have. Except I live an hour away and $10.47 simply isn’t worth the drive. The Beef Shed blamed their “supplier” and failed to take accountability for their failure to comply with the simplest of standards. To be honest if it was just 1 maybe 2 days past the expiration, I wouldn’t care so much but this is 4 days AND NOT EVEN REDUCED IN THE SLIGHTEST!!! Not to mention the fact they thought it was OK because they put “best before” instead of “use by”. Wasn’t going to mention it but since I am unhappy with standards – some of their employees are incredibly rude at the check-out! After seeing other reviews very similar - AVOID THIS PLACE - it's only a matter of time until someone gets seriously sick.
