Avon Valley Beef used to be my go to butcher for private and business BBQs but their quality went down hill. I bought T-Bone steaks and had 2 edible bites in the whole thing, the rest was just chewy , lucky at least the dog enjoyed it. Also bought honey-soy chicken wings only to find feathers attached to it. Needless to say that BBQ was ruined. Over-priced trash tier meat.

It's just a shame Avon valley feel the need to charge a charity retail prices when they have been a long term customer of avons purchasing large quantities of meat for the last 8.5 years. We only asked that you honour our 10% discount for our bulk orders. Fortunately McLoughlin butchers have come on board and offered us reasonable prices and we will now be spreading the word about our new supplier amongst our network of volunteers.

Fresh quality meats at good prices

I've been shopping here for 6 years. Mainly for your beef mince for pets. There's been times when there seems to be more fat than usual. Fat % in our pets diet should be around 20%, not 50%. Would like to see more specials!  Room for improvement

In the malaga store they have just employed 2 young men and they are brilliant! They get any thing you want done and make shore it gets done and even carry out your shopping!  Definitely recommend going in and grabbing a great bargain on good quality meat  and having a chat to Michael and Luke.

Went last night just before closing to get some lamb burgers that they had run out and the girl at the counter suggested that I take lamb rissoles instead ... sounds reasonable and I took 3 packets home cost around $25.  On reaching home, found in the ingredients list that they had lamb and beef in it and since we don't eat beef, I decided to keep in the freezer so that I can return it this morning.  This morning, the person at the counter at 1st argued that it was lamb and it may have traces. I insisted that I didn't feel comfortable knowing it and if he could kindly refund. He asked his supervisor to take over. Her initial reaction was there is nothing wrong with it and when I pointed out the lamb-beef discrepancy, she told me that since I had frozen them, she won't refund ...  I just left with a nice little message ... You can keep them and have a **** Merry Christmas.  Won't be shopping at Malaga shop again ... happy to go to Beechboro store, where the people are much nicer and not walk around carrying a chip on their shoulder like the supervisor in Malaga.  Word of advice ... help the customer, they are your business!

we regularly do Sausage sizzles and this is the best place to get flavour-some sausages.  great service and friendly staff.

Love the meat from here especially the double smoked steak just a pity the price has risen so much in the last few years
