Had a wonderful stay at Beach Retreat. Staff were great to interact with. Facilities clean and tidy. Hanging out at the pool was marvellous. Location fantastic we didn't need to use the car at all. Very helpful domestic staff we had a little hiccup with a  blocked drain she was on to it immediately nothing was too much trouble for her thank you very much we will definitely be back

The Beach Retreat is perfect for a laid back beach holiday. You can't beat the location to both the shops and the beach. We had an ocean view room on the southern end and had a lovely view overlooking the waves at the surf club.nBed was comfy and everything was just nice and easy. Had such a relaxing stay - Can't wait to return.

Absolutely love the Beach Retreat! I grew up in Coolum Beach but return and stay here when working or on holiday. Front desk is always so lovely, happy and helpful. The rooms have a relaxing throwback quality and are always very clean and fresh. The location is honestly second to none. Thanks guys I’ll keep coming back

Although the Retreat was in a great location our room was very tired and in need of some repairs. Holes in the ceiling and an obvious water leak, around the fridge was in need of paint and looked like something had been leaking, when we had been out for the day there was an odour when we returned to our room like a blocked toilet.nApart from that I liked the fact that the rooms were serviced weekly instead of daily and the location made it so easy to walk anywhere. Right across the road from the beach and walking tracks and a few minutes from shops, cafes, restaurants and clubs. Also handy to a bus stop where the rides were .50c one way. I would stay there again but not in the room we had this time.

Great location, ocean views; old dated rooms, hairdryer blew up in my hand, asked for replacement & they forgot until the following day when I approached them again; woeful wifi, severe buffering just trying to watch a Netflix movie, couldn’t read the news on my phone; the shower is in a spa bath that is over 3 feet high. I’m very tall but I struggled to step into it. Heaven forbid an old person trying to enter the shower! It needs a step. Very dangerous. No air conditioning in the bedroom. Sweltering temps overnight.
