Nice place, great location. Our room was a sea view apartment at the front of the building. We thought it might be body but actually with the doors and windows closed, we really couldn't hear the hustle and bustle outside. The pool is a bit small and slightly open to the main road, but after a couple of days of heavy rain, we were pleased that it was heated!

Everything you could possibly need in the 1 bedroom apartment including a kitchenette and 2 person deep spa bath. Our room was right next to the pool with a hot tub and a beautiful view of the ocean. The room could have a little refurbishment done but it was incredible for the price. Always ring direct rather than use one of the online sites eg Trivago for a better deal. Breakfast next door opens very early and has an amazing menu. PS we really loved the colourful prints in the room.

Pleasant stay, great location.. Room felt a little dated. Biscuit provision on receipt of keys, a little old fashioned. Staff efficient, but lacked friendliness, were too busy and although satisfactory, felt a little unwelcome.

Pro: Can't really beat location, quiet inside rooms. Cons: terribly dated, needs a good clean, very rundown, not guaranteed to get a car park.

Upon check in, bathroom was disgusting - black hair everywhere and not clean.  We had check in at 2pm and a bus to a wedding at 3 so no chance to remedy this - HOWEVER - this should not be what greets guests in the first place.

Unnecessary exorbitant hold with bank not released.  When I called back they said it will automatically be released on their end after 10 days as Beach Retreat have put longer hold on their end.   Called Beach Retreat and asked them to remove “Rhianna” the so called manager was horrendously rude. I have never experienced such attitude and rudeness from a “manager” in my life.  The woman should be out of a job.

Do not stay here!!!!
