Nice friendly cafe next to the bay. Offering endless view towards Redcliffe peninsula on the left and Shorncliffe to the right as far as your eyes can see - Port of Brisbane. There is nothing not to like with a perfect view like this matched with good food, friendly staff and service, lively atmosphere with a nice mix of crowd. Food and drink is reasonably priced for a location as perfect as this. Unpretentious and casual. First time I’ve tried was a fish burger. I had it as a takeaway to sit at a nearby bench looking at the bay and people watching. It was the best fish burger I ever had. Cost $15. Real fish from NZ. Nicely battered. Crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Fish was fresh.nI like it so much. Super yummy nI went back for a second time the following week after a yoga class. Gym was attached in the same building. Perfect for me . This time I had their beef burger and my partner had the fish and chips. We were both happy with our meals. My beef burger was very tasty. Fish and chips were good. If I were to be picky is how my beef burger was served. I would have preferred it came out on a plate. Rather than on a small oval shaped plastic container that’s barely large enough for the burger. But then it is a casual family friendly cafe. It’s probably meant to be served like this so it gets really messy with dripping sauce on the hands
This breakfast spread is incredibly satisfying and well worth the price for its large size, with every part of the meal cooked perfectly. The hash browns are well-seasoned and baked, the bacon hits the perfect balance between crunchy and chewy, and the mushrooms are seasoned beautifully. The scrambled eggs have a flawless, fluffy texture, and they pair nicely with the rest of the sides, including the grilled tomatoes, sausages, and buttered toast. To top it all off, the turmeric latte was absolutely perfect, making for an excellent meal overall.
The food is delicious and it's a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. I look forward to coming here to reward myself after a 5k run to the pier and back. Wait staff are always friendly and I like that you can just order from the table with the QR code.
Only had coffee. Requested extra hot and both were not. Latte's were flat white with a small amount of froth. It took @ 15 minutes for the coffee to arrive. Outstanding location and the food coming past looked very good. May give it another try one day.
Beautiful spot on the waterfront. Relaxed atmosphere, family & dog friendly. Our favourite coffee stop at Sandgate.
