What a lovely little cafe, with beautiful food, good prices, stunning views and delightful staff and owners. We had the avocado on toast with bacon, rocket, tomatoes, smoked feta whip and balsamic glaze. I have to say this was one of the most delightful things I’ve ever tasted. We also had the house made waffles, with house made meringue nest, banana, strawberries and a lovely house made caramel ice cream. It was sensational. I would highly recommend Baaia to anyone wanting a yummy feed, nice atmosphere and fantastic service. Just went back for the second time and I can highly recommend the sweet potato, harrisa hash with labna. We also asked for extras and they were so accommodating.
Excellent coffee. Great attention to detail. My eggs were poached perfectly. The bread was soft and crispy at the same time. Presentation immaculate. The juice made by the cafe was 10/10
Unfortunately, my experience at Baaia was disappointing. The coffee was bitter and unpleasant, which made it hard to enjoy. The food lacked flavor and was quite bland, which was a letdown. The service was just okay, but I had to approach the waitress myself to ask about what to do, as they didn’t seem very attentive.
Visited this cafe on the weekend after Parkrun. We ordered a latte and a flat white and some breakfast. They both arrived like this, and the waiter couldn’t tell us which was which.nnI feel like the milk was roughly foamed and plopped into a cup. For $5.60 or thereabouts, each, it would have been nice to have some decent foam or at least see the barista cares about a difference between the beverages. Hint: there was none.nnThe images speak for themselves.
Wow! 5 starts doesn’t do this justice. I’ve never been to a restaurant and received such a beautiful and personal experience. The owner is a true delight and was so good with our children, kind and accommodating and genuinely interested in us. This will be our new weekend spot. The team they have there are so kind and great. We left so happy
