Great cocktails and spot to drink but food left more to be desired.nnCame here for dinner and got the:nPeanut + chicken noodles bowl 7/10 - Quite flavourful and deliciousnSweet corn Alabama salad 6/10 - A good mix of ingredients, but not super filling for the price.nBetty burger 3/10 - unfortunately can’t recommend. Extremely dry burger patty, and chips were cold and soggy.nnFor drink the coconut and spicy marg were delicious and the espresso martini and blue drink were pretty good too.nnSome enjoyable items overall, but overall the food left a bit to be desired.
We absolutely loved our visit to The Alley — easily one of the best spots we found on our trip!nnWe tried a range of dishes including the fish and chips, pork cutlet, Betty burger, fried chicken, and the baked brie — and every single one was absolutely delicious. The food was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a place where every dish is a winner, but The Alley delivered on all fronts.nnThe location is fantastic, and the atmosphere has a great coastal vibe — relaxed, vibrant, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease.nnWe were also lucky enough to strike up a conversation with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and passionate about the café scene. That personal connection really added to the experience and made it even more memorable.nnIf you’re ever in Yeppoon, The Alley is a must-visit. Great food, great people, and a place we’ll definitely return to.
Honestly a pleasure all round. Had the smoked salmon pokie bowl and it was divine. Probably close to my top 10 meals I have ever had in my extensive lifetime. The staff were relaxed and casual but prompt and efficient.nnPerfect place to relax, eat, drink and enjoy.
Absolutely the best coffee in Yeppoon and all the lands!nThe Alley has such a quirky, welcoming vibe — it’s one of those places that just feels good to be in. I love going there to socialize with friends, watch live music or drag shows, or simply sit out the back with my sketchbook or laptop while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. The food is just as amazing — always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re after brunch, a treat, or just something wholesome to go with your coffee. Warm, artsy, and completely unique — there’s really nowhere else quite like it.
Came here on a whim as we walked past and it had such a nice vibe!nThere was a live musician playing who was great and the staff were lovely.nWe got the loaded fries/nachos and they were hands down the best we have ever had. Genuinely incredible!
