Super relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and great views of the channel and the drawbridge. If I could give this place 4.5 stars, I would. I ordered the hummus and veggie platter with the Francis Ford Coppola Diamond select flight. The hummus had a really good flavor, and I liked the pita and crackers, but I gave a lower rating because the veggie selection was just ok, and they were also out of the graze cup/plate, which would have gone better with a wine tasting. The Francis Ford Coppola Diamond select flight was a great, light summer wine tasting trio, and they provided a generous pour. I would definitely go here again for wine tasting in a relaxing outdoor environment!
Always a nice atmosphere. Have enjoyed many drinks here and appreciate the bar staff! Laura, Blake, and Hannah have always done such a great job! And Val made an amazing peach margarita!
The ladies here were incredibly helpful and welcoming to our group that wasn't too familiar with wine. They serve more than wine, so bring your friend that doesn't drink wine and they'll still be happy there. Beautiful location and views. Cant wait to come back.
Nice, classy little wine-focused they have lots of options though, not just wine spot with a nice view of the bridge and water. The owner was very friendly, willing to let us try a few wine samples, and talked us through some of our tastes to help us find the appropriate wines for our palates.
Yup. Out standing. I am assuming that staff were owners. View great and selection of wines huge. Did not eat but the food appy style looked awesome. Inside bar and a few rooms looked like you could have a good time many times Thank you Michelle and you partner on the deck for great hospitality. All we could ad for and more.
Best view in Charlevoix. Amazing selection of wine and wonderful staff. Wine prices are what I expected for high quality, but food small plates is a little expensive. The view of the channel, bridge, and Lake Michigan from the deck makes up for it.
Charlevoix's new hot spot! Was pleasantly surprised to see a wine bar pop up in town on my recent visit. A friend and I came in for a drink, sat at the bar, and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff, Tim. The remodel of this location is beautiful and the location is breat taking. Direct view of the bridge, channel, and lighthouse. Tim recommended a delicious Malbec for me and an even more stunning rum old fashioned for my friend. They even have some charcuterie items to nibble on. Do yourself a favor, grab a seat, take a sip, and enjoy the view.
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is so knowledgeable about wine. The ambiance is impeccable. The name fits perfectly! We went back 3 times in 3 days and loved every second!! The owners were present and socialble as well. Highly recommend while in Charlevoix.
I'd rated 4.5 but that's not possible. Great location and views. Great selection. What keeps it from being 5* is that it's about 15-20%% more expensive than I think it should be. Especially when it comes to their few appetizers that are provided by a third party. $18 for the small charcuterie cup is too much. Should be $15 at the most for what it is. Wine is only slightly elevated from where it should be. But we will be back.
I will say, we had the most enjoyable time while in Charlevoix for Venetian Fest this year. Our "go-to" at night was Vue and we will continue to come every time we are up that way. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Val, who was just on top of everything at all given times. As I said, we were in numerous times throughout the week and when she was there, you never had to wait for anything and she had every answer right away. I asked if she was the owner, and she said no, but to see how someone truly loves their job and goes above and beyond, it's very refreshing. **Side note: we were there Friday night and the woman working I think Nicky or Micky, she could take a training session from Val on how to properly conduct herself. She had no answers to anything, said they were out of most items, and truly treated us like we were nobody's. Guess I should have rolled in with my Gucci or Prada, then I would have gotten her attention and talked nicely to. You never know who's who, and don't judge a book by the cover. When you are on Vacay, you don't need to look the Corporate part... You do that Monday thru Friday.... All in all, even though we had 1 minor incident, we would HIGHLY recommend this place. I just know we won't sit down if we do not see the nice girl who was happy to see anyone and everyone including dogs on the patio which was a HUGE plus for us!
