The food was delicious, we arrived around 8.30 pm an the kitchen was still open till 9.00pm, we had the Duck with scallops and the risotto vegetarian, I highly recommend coming here, thanks guys
10/10, 2 nights in a row. What amazing food, staff, ambience and service. Dips, wine, dinner, more wine and dessert for 8 people one night and 5 the next, and not a single tiny mistake! Can’t wait to come back.
Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere!
I don't very often write reviews as I really prefer to write positive ones. It is rare that my expectations are exceeded. Just had the $15 lunch . I had the barramundi spring rolls which are absolutely delicious. I received 4 large spring rolls with a small salad and a lime dipping sauce that was outstanding . My wife had the grilled fish and chips, which they did gluten free for us. The fish was lovely and moist, the chips, fat and crunchy with a lovely tartare sauce. Both meals were excellent. My only criticism would be to provide more of the sauces as we both had to ask for extrawhich we didn't get charged for but even two portions was just enough. We eat out a lot in Yeppoon and this is the best lunch we have had for months. Don't lose that chef!!
Lovely atmosphere.. staff great and attentive. Food was ok, small for price but tasty. Food needs that little bit more "something extra" and it would be the best place to eat in yeppoon. Just lacking finesse as it was hit and miss depending on what you ordered. Great drinks menu, but my vodka & coke was flat as a pancake
My sweetheart brought me here on a surprise date, and it will always be one of our favorites. We had an amazing night. The staff was awesome and the food excellent. We not only had a nice meal, we made a great memory. Les & Sui
Overpriced and over-rated. This restaurant may have been the place to go many years ago, but sadly that is no longer the case. My partner and I ordered the goat curry and seafood marinara for our mains, the dishes that arrived at our table after a very long wait in a quiet restaurant were ameteur quality at best. The goat curry was very bland, with no spice or flavour, and tasted more like a lamb stew. I was as equally as disappointed in the marinara, which was so exceptionally dry I was unable to finish eating the dish. We tried the dessert tasting plate to finish, which arrived after another grueling 45 minute wait. Whilst I would give the presentation a 10/10, unfortunately the taste of the various desserts was about 5/10 slightly better than the mains but not by much. We were very dissapointed with the poor quality of food that was served to us last night and will not be returning. Don't waste your money and eat elsewhere!
A quiet atmosphere; light, but audible classy music with dim, elegant lighting set the scene for a meal to remember. At first I was a little skeptical that the meals were over priced but, once they arrived, I felt they were about right. Great portions, amazing quality and perfectly presented. Compliment all this by great staff who were constantly clearing the table as glasses & plates emptied and making sure the meal was enjoyable. Time for meals to arrive was a little long but the nights we have been, the place was fully booked. Take friends and family and split the taster platters especially the dessert ones. You won't regret dining here. 4.5 stars.
Staff and venue are great although the food is expensive and the portions were small. I ordered the barramundi main which was way overcooked and dry. Fish was meant to be panko crumbled, it was served fried. Sweet potato rosti was soggy. At $36, I would have expected much more. Staff did offer to cook me a new meal, though as the rest of our table were already half way finished I did not wish to keep them waiting.
Had a great meal here. Had the special Reef and Beef, served on crisp asparagus and mash, a steak cooked perfectly topped with a few prawns in a garlic creamy sauce. All my favourite things! Yum Yum heaven on a stick! Will be back...
